Oh yeah, Clay Henry. Where did they find someone with a name like that (on top of the other stuff)? Did they scout him in Yellowstone, chopping wood with Paul Bunyon and Babe?

the jared commercials - why you would want such an ugly, schmucky dorkus to be your 'mascot' is beyond me. and lately they seem to be implying he's some sort of celebrity, for god's sake.

I saw a Jared ad today with some fine lookin' lady who had a picture of Jared on her bedroom mirror. Is it supposed to be his girlfriend? An obsessed fan? Another person who ate thier way out of plumpness via Subway?

I think the chick in the commercial used Jared as her "inspiration" to eat at Subway and lose weight, blah blah blah...

Doesn't exercise seem the easier option in this case? I would go insane if I had to eat at the same place all the time no matter how excellent the food was, let alone Subway...

I think the fine print on all the ads notes that the weight losers were not typical, exercised, and ate otherwise (besides the veggie delites) reduced fat diets.

Well, when one orders the combo meals at Subway, these usually entail getting a side snack like Doritos (or, worse, potato chips) and a large soda. Bottom line is that when I want to try to lose weight, the very next sentence is not "Hmmm, guess I'll go to Subway more..."

It's as if America is a foreign country.
