It was kinda silly leading the sparrow down into the cellar n stabbing him in the kidney, so transparently done for the excuse of having a narrative pov down there for when the baelfyre explodes

also do they even have pipe organs and pianos in Westeros

As for varys teleporting- we are supposed to keep in mind that these scenes aren't all necessarily happening all within the same timeframe. We didn't just see "a few days" of events. Some scenes may have taken place a month after the scenes prior.

Margery, tommen, lorris, cousin cersei had sex with that time, mace Tyrrell, old man + untold other freys, sparrow and basically that whole religion plus a city block

In the books the reason Varys moves between continents so fast is because he is a really good swimmer.

It wasn't just "a sparrow" it was lancel lannister. Having him be the one to be our pov down there was a fitting exit for him. And the mountain can't turn people into zombies...

He's just gonna tickle her with a feather.

Anybody else get a very Terry Gilliam-esque vibe from a lot of these scenes? Obviously the one when Sam applies in person for Maester University, but others too

So if the Martel, Tyrell, half of Greyjoy are now under the banner of the Targaryen, and that the Riverlands are pretty much lordless, it seems to me that only Cersei is going to oppose the arrival of Dany? Also, Jamie having a little discussion about honor right after Cersei did make things a little predictable.

Which names do you not recognize in particular?

Martel, Greyjoy, Dany, Jamie, Oleanna, Ellaria, Margery, Tommen, Lorris, Arya. Btw first this is the first time I've stopped by this thread.

Seriously. Tyrell was the only alliance the Lannister army had. So what, it's now the captured Tully, leaderless Frey & Lannister armies vs. Dany's giant army? Cersei therefore has no actual power so I'm not anticipating any challenge for Dany on that front. I wonder how they'll fabricate one somehow.

Also, why did they lure Pycelle away to get stabbed by children ("little birds")? Would he not have attended the trial and gotten blow up with the rest of them?

I'm sure I do, but seeing the names spelled out just seemed funny to me, like I felt lost and couldn't keep track of what name connects to which person.

That article assumes they switched over to Baratheon lineage to the throne. Robert was in the throne because he had Targaryen blood, and was the next in line after discounting the Mad King's descendants.

If that was what was meant, then it seems to have failed pretty significantly, since pretty much every commentary I've read seems confused by it. But mostly time and space has broken completely down in Westeros, and everyone just teleports wherever they have to go.

enjoyed this episode v much, we had a whole season of "new" material and it felt like this was the first time that anything new or at least not 99% as expected happened, which was delightful

According to Maggy's prophecies it's also possible that Daeny marries Jaime, "taking all (Cersei) holds dear." Jaime may even end up being the "little brother" killing Cersei.

Does Daenerys stand at attention on the bridge all the way across the ocean voyage. Or were they sailing into something that the camera cut away from before we saw.
Would think there would be much better things to be doing with her time.

chronology is less of a nightmare (probably still a nightmare) if you're not assuming that we're being shown the parallel storylines simultaneously. maybe arya was with the faceless guys for like a week before taking a year to get back to the north, who knows
