tbh i don't think steph is the main villain, i think GS as an org just became so easily hateable so quickly at some point. i loved watching them for awhile and idk what happened, i think after awhile they anointed themselves prematurely and got caught slipping.

tbf the cavs org isn't that much better, i had no idea how trollish of a man gilbert was irl until he took the stage to accept the trophy

in the larger narrative of tech destroying america it was probably for the best that the warriors lost to the rustbelt team from a flyover state
