am i missing something or is a straight cut fine for boots? i wear these fkin rad cowboy boots with straight cut chinos all the time and you just pull the leg over the shaft and it's fine.

if you're in shape and cowboy boots are your daily wear and you absolutely nail the hem i think it is possible for bootcut jeans to be acceptable. but i probably just described like 4 guys in the entire country.

I wear cowboy boots. Straight cut would be fine for my boots, I think. But all I've found are skinny pants. I wear straight cut slim wranglers and RRL. Boot cut is ok until they are washed and shrink and then they have the worse shape.

all chinos have a straight fit iirc! hit up macy's instead of nordstrom, try dockers or levis. if you want 'nicer' check j. crew or banana republic, even 'nicer' brooks brothers clark advantage chinos are built like a tank ($90) but maybe a little dressier than what you really want. j crew factory online, 'bleecker' fit, like 30 bucks on sale.
