i have something to say about the offseason THE 2016 NBA OFFSEASON

was reading a chris mannix thing just now saying the strategy will be to trade for a piece or two that would make the team appealing to durant or i guess some plan b free agent

the entire hornets team is going to free agency can we just sign them and merge

they really need to trade their picks and a couple guys off the roster, just too many guys

xp long as spencer hawes isn't involved

all the bigs other than kelly are gone iirc or maybe amir has a team option for 1 more year

i don't think they'll be paying to keep sully with their current situation

youre correct about amir, jerebko is on a similar deal i think. and yeah they're not gonna bother with sully or evan turner (despite brad inexplicably turning him into a swiss army knife off the bench)

i do think danny will have to tip his hand by the draft since you can't just draft 7 guys and then expect other teams to give you any leverage in moving some of them

turner turned out to be a dece back up pg but besides that his utility to the celtics is based mostly on the fact that they just have no playmaking outside IT

potential trade targets: butler, m gasol, dmc, harden

tuner was exposed really badly playing with the first unit against atl, they just left him in the gdamn corner all night.

feel like gasol prob actually the best fit if youre dreaming of pairing someone w kd and it, tho he has age/injury concerns obvs

harden would bump IT to 2nd unit prob which would be weird to do after this year
