DeChambeau'd

We quickly ate the feast as to leave ASAP (Sufjan Grafton), Friday, 8 April 2016 22:23 (eight years ago) link

can't decide if Dustin Johnson's open 3-putt makes me more or less uncomfortable than El's awful but meaningless 6-putt

We quickly ate the feast as to leave ASAP (Sufjan Grafton), Friday, 8 April 2016 22:24 (eight years ago) link

so I keep watching them

We quickly ate the feast as to leave ASAP (Sufjan Grafton), Friday, 8 April 2016 22:24 (eight years ago) link

the three putt was understandable given the circumstances, a 6 put from 2 feet is inexcusable

Better Pau Gasol (Spottie), Friday, 8 April 2016 22:27 (eight years ago) link

but no cuts to wayne gretzky witness for that 6 putt

We quickly ate the feast as to leave ASAP (Sufjan Grafton), Friday, 8 April 2016 22:36 (eight years ago) link

true that was awkward

Better Pau Gasol (Spottie), Friday, 8 April 2016 22:40 (eight years ago) link

no one can make a putt within 4 feet

Better Pau Gasol (Spottie), Friday, 8 April 2016 22:48 (eight years ago) link

dman only three players under par today and all were only -1

Better Pau Gasol (Spottie), Friday, 8 April 2016 22:53 (eight years ago) link

those swirling winds on the putting green

We quickly ate the feast as to leave ASAP (Sufjan Grafton), Friday, 8 April 2016 22:58 (eight years ago) link

the winds do affect putting a little I think, or at least they can, never played Augusta so I dunno

japanese mage (LocalGarda), Saturday, 9 April 2016 07:06 (eight years ago) link

yeesh, billy horschel's ball was just blown off its marked spot on the green into a water hazard

call all destroyer, Saturday, 9 April 2016 19:37 (eight years ago) link

Better Pau Gasol (Spottie), Saturday, 9 April 2016 19:40 (eight years ago) link

Really hoping for someone totally unexpected to make a late charge. Love the clips compilations they put together for people they never saw coming. Holding out hope for Matsuyama atm.

Better Pau Gasol (Spottie), Saturday, 9 April 2016 20:15 (eight years ago) link

these pin placements are brutal

Better Pau Gasol (Spottie), Saturday, 9 April 2016 20:21 (eight years ago) link

It is lovely. Moved into second! He was strong on the second nine yesterday too...hopefully that'll provide some confidence.

propaganda for the American springtime (tangenttangent), Saturday, 9 April 2016 20:24 (eight years ago) link

even his putting stroke has perfect tempo

Better Pau Gasol (Spottie), Saturday, 9 April 2016 20:33 (eight years ago) link

Nice to hear Langer's name again. Now we just need Rocco Mediate and Frank Nobolo to return.

japanese mage (LocalGarda), Saturday, 9 April 2016 20:33 (eight years ago) link

yeah i'm loving matsuyama

k3vin k., Saturday, 9 April 2016 20:43 (eight years ago) link

Leaderboard is so much more fun now. Smylie Kaufman showcasing best outfit of the tournament imo.

he's also quite close to being in the final pair

propaganda for the American springtime (tangenttangent), Saturday, 9 April 2016 23:26 (eight years ago) link

just caught the last hour on dvr, what the heck happened to spieth's short game? had like three really poor chip shots in the last few holes.

call all destroyer, Sunday, 10 April 2016 01:00 (eight years ago) link

Brutal day.

McIlroy was pathetic yesterday. When his game is off he never shows any intelligence or fight unlike say Woods or Spieth, just so weak. His 3 putt at 7 was laughable given that Spieth was looking at bogey at best.

Meant to be no wind today so if they make the pins accessible could see Jason Day going low.

Rooting for Matsuyama or Langer or anyone else not called Spieth.

pandemic, Sunday, 10 April 2016 14:48 (eight years ago) link

yeah back to back winners are dull and spieth left a huge opening with the way he finishes yesterday but i still think he's going to be hard to beat.
