One of the best things about the ILX search function is that it strongly disincentivises fucking about with how you spell keywords

xp yeah, they are great cooked or mixed with some other greens, but the raw endive/radicchio salad seems to be common enough that someone must love it.

Anyway, apart from chiding Sufyoung Thugton here, I gotta say that radicchio is one of the prettiest foods. Needs shitloads of olive oil if eaten raw tho.

but olive oil is the mattress, radicchio is the pea, and I am the princess in this case

i love braised belgian endive, sauteed escarole, and frisee (not together). but will vote radicchio cuz that and gorgonzola team up to make a killer salad ime

had piave with the radicchio today, but only a small bit of it in there. had lots of difficulty rationing the piave between bites. tried to only add enough to make each bit tolerable.

there's this chinese place near me that has wok-charred romaine (not very bitter at all though) and it is delicious, meant to be eaten at once. i probably would've preferred it with a bitter not-lettuce though

Definitely endive for eating, but I love me some chicory coffee
