Do you have any local guitar shops nearby? (I have no idea where you live). Failing that, I know a thing or two abt a thing or two, so if you give me some idea of what sounds you like or what you're trying to do, I'll try to help, because I own all the pedals.

Also, you are likely to find that very few effects combinations work for both the guitar and the microkorg. Finding effects you like will be easier (probably) on the guitar because the source sounds are a much smaller range.

Do you already have a multi-fx unit? Which one?

haven't used it for a long time but iirc the microKorg responded really well to distortion, especially the more square wave-y sounds. can't go wrong with delay on synths, maybe something really short just to thicken it up rather than a tempo-based delay (assuming that you're playing with a band?).

six months pass...

I do not understand why this thing exists

https://www.roland.com/us/products/mobile_ua/

It's a USB audio interface - with no line in. It's just for playback. I don't understand. Help.

it looks like something that would be useful for people who use ipads or iphones as DAWs and want to play things from those devices on good sound systems but without using the headphone jack as the output?

sorry that's all i got

also on the subject of mobile products by roland -- I want to highly recommend the roland street cube battery powered amp. It is amazing and runs on 6 AA's.

i'm currently using a focusrite audio interface for what seems to be the use of that roland, because the sound quality of the line out on my recently purchased laptop sucks. but i assumed this was a bad diy solution to a problem which would be much better remedied by getting a new sound card
