I'm in bad need of new sneakers and my wife has a store credit for Vans that I'm considering using. Which should I get? I'm an aging dad, so I need to look semi respectable, I don't want to go too colorful or patterned.

id stay clear of the ISOs, and any of the hi tops (alomars are nice tho). the brigata is not my thing either, too sperry-esque. the "old skool" and "half cabs" are a little too skater for me. stick with the "authentics" or "era" (my fav). slip ons were never my thing

perhaps. pic up osted are the first gel lytes i've seen with that same soft matte palette as the NB 420s

Been fucking w the asics for a minute, I like them a lot more than nb's for some unknowable reason but I do tend to push a hole through the top of them w my toe fairly quickly it kind of sucks
