Check Yr Scrobbles (Moodles), Sunday, 27 December 2015 18:54 (eight years ago) link

What a waste of a drive!

Check Yr Scrobbles (Moodles), Sunday, 27 December 2015 19:13 (eight years ago) link

belichick having one of those games, passed up a great 4th n inches opportunity on the first drive too

lag∞n, Sunday, 27 December 2015 19:16 (eight years ago) link

I guess he just prefers to play it safe today rather than overextend the offense

Check Yr Scrobbles (Moodles), Sunday, 27 December 2015 19:19 (eight years ago) link

maybe theyre throwing the game to to keep pitt out of the playoffs

lag∞n, Sunday, 27 December 2015 19:20 (eight years ago) link

wld be reasonable cinci having home field isnt that threatening

lag∞n, Sunday, 27 December 2015 19:21 (eight years ago) link

Don't know if they are actively trying to throw the game, but they aren't trying very hard to win

Check Yr Scrobbles (Moodles), Sunday, 27 December 2015 19:38 (eight years ago) link

yeah

lag∞n, Sunday, 27 December 2015 19:39 (eight years ago) link

Could you imagine how good Carolina would be if Newton had a guy like Julio Jones? That 70 yard bomb was pretty amazing. If you see the replay, look at how high Jones was in the air when he got that pass.

Newton is a really good QB and athletically amazing, but he scares me as he just takes a whole lot of hits. Seen them play a bit the past month and Cam gets clobbered at least 3-6 times good a game.

panthers bout to lose

lag∞n, Sunday, 27 December 2015 20:55 (eight years ago) link

panthers lost

lag∞n, Sunday, 27 December 2015 20:58 (eight years ago) link

i think the ref just made the patriots kickoff ot even tho they won the toss

lag∞n, Sunday, 27 December 2015 21:04 (eight years ago) link

Matthew Wilson "Matt" Slater (born September 9, 1985) is an American football wide receiver, gunner, and special teams player for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Patriots in the fifth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football at UCLA. He was killed by Bill Belicheck after deferring in overtime in a game against the jets.

nomar, Sunday, 27 December 2015 21:17 (eight years ago) link

the jets dude literally tried to correct slater's mistake for him and it was too late lol

metro slothrop want some more (slothroprhymes), Sunday, 27 December 2015 21:17 (eight years ago) link

the first thing u hear is the ref saying "you want to kick off"

lag∞n, Sunday, 27 December 2015 21:33 (eight years ago) link

as far as pats fan "they hate us cuz they anus" conspiracy theorizing goes, refs deliberately jedi mind tricking special teams players is p original I gotta say

metro slothrop want some more (slothroprhymes), Sunday, 27 December 2015 21:49 (eight years ago) link

it's kinda dumb, as far as I can tell Slater just screwed up

Check Yr Scrobbles (Moodles), Sunday, 27 December 2015 21:50 (eight years ago) link

THE FUTURE: kraft acting as his own attorney, suing the NFL refs association, pointing to video of the refs lips, shouting "back and to the left!"

metro slothrop want some more (slothroprhymes), Sunday, 27 December 2015 21:50 (eight years ago) link

show me slater saying he wants to receive before the ref mind fucks him

lag∞n, Sunday, 27 December 2015 21:52 (eight years ago) link

why u think a patriot is saying dont we get to choose

lag∞n, Sunday, 27 December 2015 21:53 (eight years ago) link

ref had some sort of hallucination

lag∞n, Sunday, 27 December 2015 21:54 (eight years ago) link

its ok tho actually think if this keeps pitt out of the offs its good for the pats, good chance cinci never see the champ game even if they do get home field

lag∞n, Sunday, 27 December 2015 21:55 (eight years ago) link

bill is claiming it was his idea in the postgame presser, for what it's worth, but I mean he could just be advancing the cover story to not make a thing of it, for the greater good of the way

Watching the AZ against the Pack and Eagles last week, they look like a wrecking crew right now without any real weaknesses.

idk not that many they have ten points and theres three mins left

lag∞n, Monday, 28 December 2015 00:21 (eight years ago) link

That rookie back for the Cardinals Johnson is really good. He's built like a banger but is really nice in their pass game.

earlnash, Monday, 28 December 2015 00:23 (eight years ago) link

The eventual meetup between Arizona and Carolina in the playoffs is the actual SB50 amirite

cards?

Mordy, Monday, 4 January 2016 19:49 (eight years ago) link

yeah before yesterday I definitely thought Arizona were #1 in the NFC but now I'm not so sure

GB has been real depressing to watch this season, despite their 10-6 record it really feels like they are one of the worst offenses in the league sometimes. I've never been on the "fire McCarthy" bandwagon but watching him continue to establish the run in the 4th quarter while down by 17 was infuriating

frogbs, Monday, 4 January 2016 19:54 (eight years ago) link

i didn't watch the arizona game yesterday... they didn't sit starters?

Mordy, Monday, 4 January 2016 19:56 (eight years ago) link

Peterson's fumble was totally Bridgewater's fault; it's hard to secure a handoff that's delivered to your thigh.

you're breaking the NAP (DJP), Monday, 4 January 2016 19:59 (eight years ago) link

xp I think they sat palmer when the writing on the wall became perfectly clear, other than that not sure

metro slothrop want some more (slothroprhymes), Monday, 4 January 2016 20:10 (eight years ago) link

I kind of don't see how any team other than Seattle or Carolina makes it out of the NFC
--you're breaking the NAP (DJP)

mostly agree w this. would be real interested to see carolina play this healthy arizona team (rather than the lindley version they got last wildcard round). still think panthers would win tho, and based on how wilson has looked in the 2nd half of the season idk who can really fuck with a fully operational seahawks

metro slothrop want some more (slothroprhymes), Monday, 4 January 2016 20:16 (eight years ago) link

(lol well except the rams who are not a factor here)

Just as a reminder...Coughlin does actually seem like a pretty good dude. Remember hearing about this story quite a few years ago.

http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/college/memory-boston-college-jay-mcgillis-lives-hearts-ny-giants-coach-tom-coughlin-loved-article-1.1105548

earlnash, Tuesday, 5 January 2016 02:35 (eight years ago) link

I'll miss Coughlin, and I really can't see another team anywhere giving the wheel to a 70 year old head coach. He's probably coached his last NFL game. ;_;

Ⓓⓡ. (Johnny Fever), Tuesday, 5 January 2016 03:51 (eight years ago) link

I think Tom Coughlin might go back to coaching college football.
