think we had another thread on these. my favourites are clinique - happy, not too expensive, p clean smelling and simple, good everyday scent. then on occasion comme des garcons - wonderwood, chanel for men, and if you want to push the boat out or get a sampler, creed - green irish tweed is p nice despite the ludicrous name, which i guess seemed a good idea when they invented it for cary grant or whoever.

for years i didn't wear them but when you get into the habit it's nice - people often ask about a scent - it is good to smell good.

Buy a bunch if tiny tester vials from fragrance.net and lyckyscent to figure out not just the types of scents you like but what actually wears well on you.

I love friends and family who have signature scents bc I might not see them much but I might get a whiff of their scent from someone on the street and it's a really nice reminder.

I spent ages trying to find the right scent for jordan and it ended up being the same one my female BFF wears - light blue by D&G (not the homme one). It smells totally blah on me but on these two it's the greatest smell ever.

Splurged on this a year ago, no regrets, all cedar-y:

TK Maxx seems to be selling its Miller Harris stock at £25, which is 75% off retail in the clearance racks at the moment. They're reliably good.

just1n3 otm. In the UK you can use http://www.scentsamples.uk.com/; they don't have everything but I was ok with splurging on my current in-rotation scents (Diptyque Philosykos and CdG Vetiverru) after trying them out first.
