The inevitable Ellie Goulding thread

Saw her live once and didn't dig it at all. Don't like any of her singles I've heard so far. When she comes on the radio, my kids and I have a standing agreement to switch the station. Her voice is so static and undynamic. Like listening to someone mutter at you over a programmed beat.

i liked bright lights a lot and have found everything I hear from her for the past four years to be pretty poor. maybe i need to try again?

I liked "Lights" a lot

it's mostly 'guns and horses', 'starry eyed', 'under the sheets', 'this love will be your downfall' for me... and they all still sound great to me! i blame skrillex and the market for pushing her in directions i find boring as hell

Yeah, forgot about Lights, that was fine. One I hate the most is the one that just repeats "love you like you do" over and over again.
