targeting calls scarier than Frankenstein's monster

Poor Owls. I guess it's best not to tease fans with the idea your team can win big games, though.

Ⓓⓡ. (Johnny Fever), Sunday, 1 November 2015 04:00 (eight years ago) link

They were def impressive at times, though. A weird game for dishone. I'm happy for Fuller, who got the winning grab and is from Philadelphia.

NATION: ? ? ? (Sufjan Grafton), Sunday, 1 November 2015 04:14 (eight years ago) link

I am also happy for the wolf man, who interrupted my viewing of said winning grab with his urgent need for more candy.

Spottie, Sunday, 1 November 2015 05:23 (eight years ago) link

Don't know if that win is going to help Stanford much in the playoff race. Pretty ugly.

schwantz, Sunday, 1 November 2015 06:19 (eight years ago) link

v sad lol @ how the CFP just solidified conference+ND bias instead of opening up shots for the little guys.

A poor audio feed for the one board member who was attending the meeting via conference call left Wolfe standing awkwardly at the podium for nearly three minutes after reading only the first sentence of his statement.

Karl needs this soundbyte

the grimes of claire boucher ('90s on) (Sufjan Grafton), Monday, 9 November 2015 20:30 (eight years ago) link

its prob not gonna end up like this but a clem/nd rematch would be a p good game

johnny crunch, Wednesday, 11 November 2015 03:50 (eight years ago) link

ive been watching the showtime nd season tv show for some reason, its actually a compelling team (he sez grudgingly), has david robinsons son & torii hunters son both on the team as receivers, and torri jr is now playing as a db also; also has jac collinsworth bro covering them

johnny crunch, Wednesday, 11 November 2015 04:01 (eight years ago) link

Collinsworth sounds quite a bit like his dad. Jerry Tillery is the most compelling.

the grimes of claire boucher ('90s on) (Sufjan Grafton), Wednesday, 11 November 2015 04:05 (eight years ago) link

yea its eerie.. word tillery is cool agree

johnny crunch, Wednesday, 11 November 2015 04:10 (eight years ago) link

imagine a iowa/alabama semifinal jesus

johnny crunch, Wednesday, 11 November 2015 04:24 (eight years ago) link

I'm into it.

Ⓓⓡ. (Johnny Fever), Wednesday, 11 November 2015 06:11 (eight years ago) link

If Iowa and ND win out, things will be awkward in my family. I expect that they will both lose before that becomes an issue as is tradition.

the grimes of claire boucher ('90s on) (Sufjan Grafton), Wednesday, 11 November 2015 16:50 (eight years ago) link

uga has a 3rd and 41 rn

johnny crunch, Saturday, 14 November 2015 19:40 (eight years ago) link

After that Baylor game, Oklahoma needs to jump into the final four. The irony would be delicious.

Ⓓⓡ. (Johnny Fever), Sunday, 15 November 2015 07:12 (eight years ago) link

okst is not good but if they somehow win out (v baylor, v ou) itll look bad theyre not in the playoff

johnny crunch, Sunday, 15 November 2015 17:28 (eight years ago) link

irony that unduly rewards Oklahoma in any way shape or form is not delicious

Aimless, Sunday, 15 November 2015 18:47 (eight years ago) link

things could get v messy for this CFP

the grimes of claire boucher ('90s on) (Sufjan Grafton), Tuesday, 17 November 2015 17:14 (eight years ago) link

good god

J0rdan S., Saturday, 21 November 2015 04:58 (eight years ago) link

they should just play the rest of the game with a continuously running clock, so it's over in 30 minutes of real (painful) time

Aimless, Saturday, 21 November 2015 05:02 (eight years ago) link

wow there was just a sick play in tx/tx tech

johnny crunch, Friday, 27 November 2015 01:24 (eight years ago) link

"that's borderline immaculate reception"

johnny crunch, Friday, 27 November 2015 01:24 (eight years ago) link

Man, if LSU really fires Les Miles I am gonna lol in their direction forever.

Ⓓⓡ. (Johnny Fever), Saturday, 28 November 2015 00:40 (eight years ago) link

Even if you aren't playing in the BCS or the Playoff every year, you usually have at least 10 wins and your recruiting pull is KUH-RAZY good with Les Miles. Let's look back at Alabama after Gene Stallings or Michigan after Lloyd Carr or Tennessee after Philip Fulmer or USC after Carroll or...god, the annual disaster that is U of Miami. If you kick a winning coach to the curb, it might be a while before you get another one.

Ⓓⓡ. (Johnny Fever), Saturday, 28 November 2015 00:44 (eight years ago) link

Yup

the grimes of claire boucher ('90s on) (Sufjan Grafton), Saturday, 28 November 2015 04:20 (eight years ago) link

Maybe they think they can hire Chip Kelly when Philly fires him.

Aimless, Saturday, 28 November 2015 04:35 (eight years ago) link

tbh that might be the best landing spot for Chip. because there's no question that he's gonna be out of a job.

Ⓓⓡ. (Johnny Fever), Saturday, 28 November 2015 04:52 (eight years ago) link

O_O @ mich in this 2nd half
