woops, revived the Y&G thread without noticing this one. Anyway, I like the new song, and I'm surprised the production doesn't sound more Fridmann-y.

New song is good - I like the slow build, and the Chad Kroeger-fronting-Pink Floyd part is better than the big stomping hard rock part. Plus I feel like their old drummer was a lot more supple. But the Mellotron stuff reminds me of what Opeth's been doing the last couple of albums. So yeah, I'm in.

I'm in too (of course) but but but this sounds kind of muddy ? And I wish it sounded more like the new deafheaven ???

I don't think it does. The bombast may be a bit much for some palates I guess, but that's kind of what you get with this band.

Love the Queen-ish guitar harmonies, as always.
