Brian Askrud must be the most hyper organized NON spotify employee on Spotify when it comes to new release playlists.

I notice that he has been snapped up by Sony Music (from previously working in a sector completely unrelated to music)

He make be working for Sony now but is still adding independent artists and other (non sony) major labels artists to his personal account playlists.

Based in Stockholm i am surprised that he didn't end up at Spotify.

John Corbett (not the actor), who's been in the art and music worlds in Chicago and has one of the largest record collections of anyone I know, started making monthly mixes during lockdown, each with its own theme. Lots of good playlists.

Also, oddly, The Row's monthly playlists have a lot of deep cuts by familiar names, and consistent all around.

This thread is such a great resource.

I just discovered that a bot on Reddit makes playlists out of the most popular contributions from each music subreddit.

I haven't looked at them all, but I am sure that the post-punk subreddit is great.

Just search "r/" and you will find a lot of playlists.
