those hot chiffon bow shoes lauren got up thread are now $29.99-$39.99.

i know it says theyre suede but looking at the pictures only the brown looks suede. i want to get the red. im sure that patent leather though. anyone?

those are leather. for some reason the only color available in suede on the nine west site is brown. they have more suede options instore. i still love them but those heels are HIGH, y'all. strictly for cab nights.

I forgot to update the thread back in September. I bought these to replace my almost 20-year-old Raichles that no longer fit with 2 pairs of socks and had started to come apart and aren't made anymore.

I thought about getting Onitsuka Tigers, but those things have paper-thin soles, and I'd probably walk through them in 6 months. Instead, I got these for walking/vacation-running purposes.

Have had a good shoe-haul lately. One pair of Etniesplus suede/cut-pattern leather slouch boots from a limited edition and another pair of their sneakers as booty on press trip, vintage dead-stock Mary Jane heels from charity shop over the road, and black pair and red pair of Bob Marley brand (chortle) mary-jane flats that look like en pointe shoes for some ballet urbain.

I ordered these boots the other day for my trip to Orlando later this month to see the Black Crowes play their first gig of the New Year, which is, coincidentally, also the last one before they head off to play some dates in the UK & Europe. They were absolutely amazing at The Fillmore this past August, so I've decided to seize upon my last chance to see them live again (for a while, anyway). This will be my first time in Florida and my first time flying solo. All very exciting! :) Hopefully it won't rain and I'll be able to wear my new suede boots to the show. Forecasts have been looking good so far. Fingers crossed...

ohmyGOD I want to go shoe shopping so badly. I've never owned wedges (!) but find myself loving Marianna's and Tehresa's upthread. The right wedges are remarkably solid and practical! I want something like this for summer:

Oh Robyn, those red wedges you posted above? I have that shoe but with the skinny heel and they are SUPER COMFY. Nice big toebox cos they're so rounded and the ankle strap means no strain to keep them on yr feet. GO FOR IT.

andrew m's shoes look very andrew m. which is a good thing.

ive been searching for the perfect pair of red maryjanes for years now and I finally found them on ebay. italian leather, tie up strap. very 70s.

here's the catch - since that 70s show is done, fox has been selling off the shows wardrobe and props. these shoes i bought were worn by 'donna' in the school prom/tornado episode where donna and eric hang out with aerosmith. seems i have the same size 'giants feet' as laura prepon. theyre in good condition and have no marks expect for 'DONNA' written on the soles. can I still wear them or should they be encased in bulletproof glass and adored from afar?
