So, uh, I guess all it took for a Munsters reboot to get off the ground was for Rob Zombie to take the helm?

From the first moment I saw the show, I hated Eddie Munster. I also hated the bland, 'nice girl' daughter who was the 'normie' thrown in so the writers could play around with a bigger variety of plots; she was so bland and awful she basically disappeared on the screen like a black hole from which no charisma could escape, so the writers wisely tossed her overboard in most of the episodes.

1) Rob wants you to know he's recreating some of his favorite movies.
2) Rob want to play some classic rock songs he likes for your.
3) Rob want to show you his wife is keeping it tight.

This looks terrible. It looks like Zombie has followed Kevin Smith down the "I'm just going to have fun making whatever the fuck I want with buds, I don't care who watches it", which, I guess I can respect on some level.

that said, i'm 100% on board with letting Rob Zombie make a Munsters film. sure, why not?

my theory is that the trailer is like that because Rob Zombie has never seen a single episode of the of original series of The Munsters but has watched every episode of The Munsters Today multiple times

Zombie is apparently an enormous Munsters fan? Although you'd be forgiven for thinking he felt a while different way about the Munsters based on that trailer.
