ice cr?m, Tuesday, 31 March 2009 15:03 (fifteen years ago) link

of COURSE he does

Althought elements of this expansion were available separately from 2004 to 2007, this pack did not release in English until 2008. It combines elements of fishing, events, expanded trading, barbarian attacks, camel trains, and much more to make a more well-rounded playing experience.

i don't have many favorite bars... it's like what's cheap and nearby kind of thing.

frank's lounge next to my house is cute because it's quaint

Surmounter, Tuesday, 31 March 2009 15:05 (fifteen years ago) link

i finally went to pete's waterfront -- that was not terrible, they had a good scotch ale.

i liked franks a lot the 1 time i was there but isnt it closed right now?

Dr Morbius, Thursday, 2 April 2009 18:38 (fifteen years ago) link

yeah i plan to show up at like 2pm or something, surely they will be done setting up their traditional "four broken ass picnic tables" with some chalk outlines saying "SMOKE HERE" by then??

i do like they are just advertising that justin will be there, i heard he just got back to india and therefore i do probably want to meet him and hear about his wonderful journey which was probably spiritual and life-altering too btw.

love me some justin

rip dom passantino 3/5/09 never forget (max), Saturday, 18 April 2009 13:23 (fifteen years ago) link

it's pretty obscure, but there's this beer garden, sorry BIERGARTEN, in queens.

seriously though, it's great in the afternoon for lunch and drinks, but don't ever go after 5pm. Then it's intolerable.

also, mets games (but i haven't been in forever, and obv can't speak to the new shake shake.)

ian, Sunday, 19 April 2009 23:42 (fourteen years ago) link

there is a rooftop winebar in wbrg but it probably sucks.
clem's in wburg has tables on the sidewalk and is pretty good if you can score one of those; the interior of the bar is kinda narrow & cramped.

ian, Sunday, 19 April 2009 23:44 (fourteen years ago) link

there's a place up btw wb & greenpoint that has a patio, lauren knows this place.

all too inconveniently located, ppl

Dr Morbius, Monday, 20 April 2009 00:27 (fourteen years ago) link

When workers removed the bar from the former Grassroots Tavern (1975-2017) on St. Mark's Place last week, they discovered these old murals. I have no idea how old they old. The landmarked building dates to 1832. [Photos by Derek Berg] pic.twitter.com/rEPN7Ej2Zc
