it’s flippant and cruel on a board where a number of posters have previously disclosed they (we) have in the past been sexually assaulted/abused/harassed, at a time when we are all being bombarded with ugly news stories evoking awful memories. but maybe that’s the aim.

I shitcanned it before seeing this thread - there were a couple of posts on the thread itself from people who had been abused that convinced me, but it was also it was very obvious that people just weren't going to leave the thread alone even if it just to shit on the thread starter.
