I have no reason to assume this person is male, I've just assumed so from the beginning.

He's got the same name as caek, who has a government name usually assigned to the male gender.

Hi Tom,

It's that time of year again. I am sending my app into the church tomorrow for the craft fair. Does the Club wish to do it again this year? If so, I am willing to coordinate it through Friday night. I will be out of town for the next two weeks but please let me know what the Board decides.

Is it possible to run a 3.5" cube of wood through a planer, safely? I want to make one of those cube within a cube. I have a chunk of cedar but it needs to be squared up.

Thanks,
Norm

i mean think about this: that's $20.99 for the food but $8.04 for the delivery, tax and tip AFTER the $-1.47 coupon which is to say that I am willing to pay 27.69% of my meal this evening to non-edible convenience, government regulation and helping put your child through private school
this is redistribution not just of salsa or of saving but of THE AMERICAN DREAM and somewhat of corn: no chips por favor gracias

dearest uncle julio's perimeter marketing department, can i make a little suggestion? and do not presume that i am stepping on your territory because lord knows you are important people in my life. you have driven my consumer habits for at least a year now and 1/3 of my intake is perimeter driven so respect due but as they say on game of thrones a man must ask: why $-1.47 and not $-1.50 on the coupon? is it to stand out in the same way that today's mothers name their daughters rebekkah and lauryttah on unique snowflake/stripclub bound predetermination? because, and i am talking real shit right now, you so do not need this sort of gimmickry. girl, you can round DOWN and i will be on your perimeter today tomorrow and in September. do not cheapen our moment; if you want to show me you care i have two words: extra and sour cream. p.s. three more words (and an apostrophated vowel) to take this to the next level: free side o' guac

like a giraffe of nah (forksclovetofu), Thursday, 28 May 2015 23:54 (eight years ago) link

$1.47 is seven percent of $20.99.

$1.37 is seven percent of the discounted price of $19.52.

Seven percent is the restaurant tax for the Atlanta suburb where Uncle Julio lives.

So in other words, faek caek doesn't have to pay tax on his Juarez. ยก

Hello Everyone,

Matt would like each one of you to attend his upcoming bachelor party in the DC area. The date is being finalized, but it will be a weekend in August. Kate's bachelorette party is August 15 so we might do it the same weekend since there are couples that will have one person attending each party. Please let myself and [woof's government name + an email address that is not the one this was sent to] know if you would like to attend.

I am also searching for ideas of things to do. Some ideas are a DC United game (they are at home on 8/1 & 8/22), going to a local brewery, going to a beirgarten. Does anyone else have suggestions? Feel free to watch any of the Hangover movies for inspiration.

Lastly, do not tell Matt know the date or the plans for his bachelor party. We want this to be a complete surprise for him.

Cool thanks
My o/h was organising a stag do for his brother and emailed everyone with the date and vague plans but not full addresses or timetable etc. he also said not to tell the groom as it was a surprise what they were doing.

One guy got on the train to the city it was in, a week early (before everything was firmed up) realised he didn't know where to go after getting off the train, rang the groom to ask. smh

Hi Lisa,

I know you haven't asked for anything for the newsletter but I came across the following in "Popular Mechanics" and thought some of them were hilarious. You could use these as fillers in upcoming newsletters.

Phrases You Never Want to Hear in a Person's Workshop:

Squinting is the same as wearing safety glasses.

This all-in-one stain and polyurethane is probable just as good.

I threw the owner's manual away years ago. So bulky!

You're telling me I should have measured the opening for the door before we built this part?

Don't waste your time I already measure that.

Golly, that saw is waaaay too loud.

You got to smell this glue.

Epoxy can't be that hard to get off.

Why shouldn't a belt sander work on a bunion?

Those were my good decoupage/sewing scissors.

Oh, here it is: The instructions say we should open the windows.....two hours ago.

Pilot holes are for sissies.

Please don't tell me we missed Ellen.

Some articles for you:

SCROLL SAW SPLINTER GROUP

The group will meet Saturday, July 25th, 9:30 AM, at Woodcraft South. The discussion for this quarterly meeting will be an explanation why Rick Spachek had gone over to the dark side. The "dark side" in this case being the use of spiral blades. We have not talked about spirals for some time and seems like Rick has mastered them. He will go through the different sizes and their uses, different manufacturers, and how he is using them. This promises to be a fun and information discussion so we hope to see you there.

Don't forget to bring your latest projects to show us what you have been doing and your questions.

VETERAN TRIBUTE

A couple of months ago we issued several veteran tribute ornament patterns to the club. We asked people to make a few of these to be given out especially on Memorial Day. These ornaments are given out all year long. This activity is being coordinated by Rick Googleproofenstein. So far this year Rick has collected and given out 230 ornaments! That is a wonderful number and I am sure these ornaments have made many veterans feel good, but we need to do more for them. It would be so nice to reach 500 by the end of the year. If people would just make three or four stacks of these ornaments, we could do it. If you need the pattern please contact Rick Googleproofenstein at hoss7318@y... or Norm Nutjob at scrollsaw@...

I am out of state until after the meeting but if there is anything you need, let me know.

Norm

Dear tokyo rosemary

Just a quick note to let you know that the new Mrs Foley entry for the DNZB
has now been printed and is available on

[link removed]

The editors have shortened and condensed my original and altered some of it
to their approved "style" but all the important bits are there and, after
some negotiating, I'm happy with what has been printed.

Hope all is well with you

Best regards
Peter
