should’ve noted lol FILTH before my deadly pun there. anyway, re what i <3 here, among other things:

lushness of b&w night. humans rapt amid city lights, puts me in mind of like louis faurer’s nyc at night

graceful “accidental” composition to all of these, compelling foci but worth looking through whole frame from edge to edge to edge to edge (such richness in the “background”; background /adjacent figures are puncta here)

hard not to sound corny but street is as much capture of photog’s eye-heart as capture of object: acerbic witty observation of humans but also real poignance/ affection here

you zero in as much on the individual private moment (self alone/ absorbed with self (on public stage)) as fleeting fragile connections between creatures (and both things at same time)

etc
