post pro tips:

• bring your own coffee mug from home
• use lemongrass oil to make the room smell not weird
• visit chapel for change of scenery
• figure out where the nurses keep their coffee

Disinfect hands on way in and way out.

Take no notice if the doctor on the poster outside looks suspiciously like Harold Shipman.

Be nice to nurses because nurses are awesome.

It's unfortunate that I had to learn from hanging out at the hospital, but that last bit is absolutely OTM. More awesome than many of the doctors, even.

Get out ASAP

Avoid overpriced gift shop

Have friends bring you food

Ask for a chaplain, chaplains are cool (well some of them)

Steal boxes of gloves because why not

Steal anything else you can manage

connect to WiFi and kill to get it if need be

Claim you need dilaudid even if you don't

Settle for an ativan

Experiment with different ways of tying gown to create new fashions

Take off your grippy socks, hide them, tell nurse you are a fall risk and need new grippy socks. Repeat.

Ask for bed bath clothes. They are kept in a warmer and feel nice. Get the reg not the CHG.
