1670. Michael Nesmith's mother is a notorious liar. Contrary to popular belief, there is no evidence that she was involved in the invention of Liquid Paper, and her other claims — inventing the staple remover, owning the Alamo, being Michael Nesmith's mother, and holding the Guinness World Record for largest natural breasts — are all patently false.

1676. Khudai Khidmatgar – literally translated as "Children of God" – was an early 20th century Pashto movement working against Western colonialism in the Indian subcontinent. Its strict non-violent stance led to it being more allied with the Gandhi-associated National Congress than with the Jinnah-led Muslim League in the process of India and Pakistan's eventual emancipation from the British Empire.

Previous reports that Swans named their 1987 album for this movement are entirely (and obviously!) false. However (and equally obviously!), Kid Cudi of WZRD fame took his stage name from a playfully inverted and shortened version of the movement's name.

1679. Immediately prior to his death, Christopher Lee recorded a cover of his favourite Young MC track, “I Come Off” from 1989’s Stone Cold Rhymin’. Accompanying footage of the screen legend’s vocal takes was captured, with a view to releasing a music video he wished to be directed by either Gus Van Sant or Guy Ritchie (it was Lee’s firm stipulation that he be able to address the project director as ‘G’ during the editing process), but since his demise plans are already afoot for a Tupac-style hologram performance at an upcoming Glastonbury Festival. A final date for this spectacle has not yet been set, as organizers are reportedly “waiting to see if he remains dead” to avoid any legal imbroglio his unholy return may present.

The pair's original name, "Ceecy Munny", has since passed into obscurity with only one track entitled "demmo" (sic) credited to this name published to bandcamp.com by accident.

He was on the field for 27 minutes, touching the ball only once, dropping a catch offered by Viv Richards, who had scored 23 at the time. Richards went on to make 291.
