yeah .. those were good fun.it feels that the label has been in a state of comatose for a while now (that or i am scubbed off the promo list, which would be understandable), though it could be due to the fact they had to regroup and get together some cash.oh, actually, the eureka machines album last year was great. the excessive queen styled vocal overdubs, and chugga chugga guitars always makes me smile.

suspect it will be just me + a couple of bar staff rejoicing in the mighty racket the band create.

loving the piano bloke playing air drums.
oh, and yes, that is graham coxons drummer, aka stuffy, backing up the bands regular drummer ..
have never seen them play live with the dual drummerz groove, but i know they have recorded with such a set up.

Stuffy of Stuffy and the Fuses? I have a 7" somewhere. Was meant to put them on one time but I don't think it happened in the end.

New one is up on bandcamp. Bit more restrained than I would like (eg. Cursed) but some great bits. Only listened once so far though.

a restrained S6 !!? blimey.that said, have they ever bettered 'cabin fever' ? as time goes on, its clear that they peaked with that album - a genuinely brilliant album.not got the new one yet, but a few more glasses of wine, and it will probably be on order.

yes, i still love this lot more than i probably should.
after 25 years they have decided to give every album away for free.
https://thescaramangasix.bandcamp.com/
even the latest release has an absolute stomping S6 track on it, 'as we take the stage', that is as good as anything off their previously mentioned classic 'cabin fever', so, they clearly still have it.

they are still together.if things go to plan, i am going on a mini tour with them this weekend.leeds tomorrow, (first time i will have been back in leeds for 25 years), and then preston on saturday.despite the fact i rarely listen to guitar based music these days, i am really looking forward to it.
