agreed btw that love should just go and be the number 1 on a mediocre team that maybe won't end up being that mediocre at one point

its just hard to have three primary scorers on the court at the same time and he's not good enough at D to chameleon it and play another role.

is it possible that love has a skillset that doesn't allow him to be a role player but isn't quite good enough to be a true two-way franchise star?

i mean probably not but maybe? even with the cavs rolling he still seems horribly out of place and miscast.

maybe it's a mental thing? he shouldn't fit worse than bosh offensively but it still seems like he does? defensively it's obvious tho

bosh looked p miscast his first year w the big three too, tho obvs not to the truly epic extent love has

even tho things are happy go lucky with the cavs now i still think their manifest destiny is a dispiriting playoff loss that gets laid at the feet of love who ends up bolting on some dwight shit

i think love cld be the primary scorer on a elite nba team, but wldnt fit with as wide variety of types of elite teams as more versatile superstars like bron or w/e

love wld be really good prob on a very structured team like the the hawks or spurs

spurs might have some money this summer i hear

love might be miscast with a ring in a few months

feel like the east is still very winnable, and then, who knows?

so much better than before the trades tho. they have a pretty solid 7 man rotation now. think i mentioned on here I don't mind JR for a focused half season.They could flirt with lineups and start Tristan and bring Love off the bench to overlap with either Bron or Kyrie.

the trades got them a legitimate nba lineup, not a championship lineup imho, i say they go down to a more disciplined seasoned well rounded team

just checking up and cavs have some genuinely awful players getting minutes wow

not like guys who can be cut out in the playoff either

marion might be able to help in the playoffs if he's healthy but he old too.

i mean they cld conceivably roll w thompson and shump but neither of them can play point

perkins haha he came in against the warriors and got two fouls (one offensive) in like 5 seconds and the coach yanked him it was beautiful. he was so butthurt.

delavadova is one of the least useful nba players ive ever seen

love on a team like the Hawks is interesting, i think horford is a pretty decent parallel for him as a guy who isn't quite good enough to drag a franchise into the conference finals but in the right situation is the jack of all trades kinda number 1 scorer who can elevate a deep group of very good role players

Bron missing all his free throws esp the ones at the end that could have tied or won the game was really puzzling

with kyrie not playing yesterday they actually didn't have any starting-quality guards on the team, houston noticed this and made life pretty miserable on the perimeter defensively w/ariza and bev.

yeah interesting comparison tho imo horford is truly an all around player where love shines more in a couple areas where he can go high volume
