hearing rumours that bosh is in hospital with a pulmonary embolism

I saw Ethan skolnick posting something about heart problems but he was vague; that's horrible

Heat F Chris Bosh was admitted Thursday to Miami-area hospital where initial tests were done on Bosh's lungs.
man this is scary, hope he's alright. jerome kersey died yesterday of a clot in his leg hitting his lungs.
― Clay, Friday, 20 February 2015 05:06 (nine years ago) link
bosh literally going to the damn hospital the day the heat get dragic is unreal
― J0rdan S., Friday, 20 February 2015 05:50 (nine years ago) link
i like the isiah thomas trade for the suns... they had him on an insane contract for his production but maybe a lot of that really is offset by how hard he must be is play with & brandon knight might be a better player once you factor in defense and size
― J0rdan S., Friday, 20 February 2015 05:53 (nine years ago) link
also isaiah on a crazy cheap deal + smart and james young on rookie deals & a good lottery pick coming is a decent little situation for the celts
2015 is the time for multiple tiago and-1s

― brimstead, Friday, 20 February 2015 06:17 (nine years ago) link
so so sick of jamal crawford drawing fouls on 3s
― brosario nawson (m bison), Friday, 20 February 2015 06:24 (nine years ago) link
Weird game. So damn slow with the fouls.
― Steph def def (Spottie), Friday, 20 February 2015 06:46 (nine years ago) link
Plumlee, Ennis, Thomas and the Lakers pick is just too much for Brandon Knight imo. It's possible he lives up to that but I doubt it.
― Matt Armstrong, Friday, 20 February 2015 07:16 (nine years ago) link
ya knight is p good but thats way too much
― lag∞n, Friday, 20 February 2015 07:26 (nine years ago) link
kinda made up for it by getting 2 firsts for dragic tho

― J0rdan S., Friday, 20 February 2015 14:17 (nine years ago) link
that's terrible
― call all destroyer, Friday, 20 February 2015 14:29 (nine years ago) link
article is 100% speculation. the only known fact is that bosh was admitted to hospital for a lung condition.
― micah, Friday, 20 February 2015 14:30 (nine years ago) link
hope he's ok

in other news the thunder are now in the playoffs and 9% of all nba players got traded in one day
― micah, Friday, 20 February 2015 14:42 (nine years ago) link
i don't think thomas works at all, long-term, as a starter, especially in boston. he's on an extremely favorable contract tho and it's likely ainge just wants him so he can deal him later on

Last month, Brooklyn Nets guard Mirza Teletovic was diagnosed with a similar condition (pulmonary embolus) and will miss the rest of the season. Cleveland forward Andersen Varejao was diagnosed with a blood clot on his lower right lung in January 2013 and missed the remainder of the season.
Bosh :-(

re bosh just glad they caught it that is a super dangerous sitch
― lag∞n, Friday, 20 February 2015 15:21 (nine years ago) link
IT he cn start imo, who knows if he fits in boston, who knows what boston is, cld play next to smart as smart is big enough to guard 2s, having two ball handlers in the backcourt is p cool in todays nba
― lag∞n, Friday, 20 February 2015 15:22 (nine years ago) link
yeah but if smart is big enough to guard 2s that leaves...IT to guard point guards. and point guards are actually good and need to be guarded
― k3vin k., Friday, 20 February 2015 15:23 (nine years ago) link
well regardless when u play him hes not gonna be good at D, but hey a lot of players arent good at D
― lag∞n, Friday, 20 February 2015 15:24 (nine years ago) link
at least he has an excuse

yeah they were very fun, the 10-minute chat format works well with the players, though tbh i need like an hour of ahmad rashad, that guy is incredible

his frank sinatra story omg
― k3vin k., Friday, 20 February 2015 15:49 (nine years ago) link
bernard king was amazing too, the way he broke down the way he approached scoring was almost ted williamsesque
― k3vin k., Friday, 20 February 2015 15:50 (nine years ago) link
after reading some trade deadline reactions ive come to the conclusion goran dragic is the modern day turkoglu, the one player every nba fan is convinced is really good after he had one really good season during a career of pretty good seasons
― lag∞n, Friday, 20 February 2015 16:00 (nine years ago) link
Simmons: I am making this point for the second time this week: Dragic was the fourth-best guard in basketball last season. I voted him second-team All-NBA. There were legitimate reasons why his numbers dropped this year that had nothing to do with him and everything to do with the bizarre but lovable roster that Phoenix slapped together. Miami becomes a title contender if it can get him without touching its top four … at least until we remember that Dwyane Wade couldn’t play 38 MPG for four straight rounds even if Anthony Bosch, Brian McNamee and Ivan Drago’s trainer were training him. But we won’t remember that until, like, late April, right?
bill simmons dragic has a whole career u cn look at btw the stats are avalible online

Goldsberry: Dragic is really good with the right guys. Last year, Vogel called the Dragic-Frye pick-and-roll “maybe the hardest to cover in the game.”
last year
― lag∞n, Friday, 20 February 2015 16:04 (nine years ago) link
oh come on he's better than turkoglu ever was, turkoglu was your classic overperforming on a well-coached good team guy, dragic was the best player on his team
― k3vin k., Friday, 20 February 2015 16:11 (nine years ago) link
i did love turkoglu tho lol
― k3vin k., Friday, 20 February 2015 16:12 (nine years ago) link
ur doing it right now, u r turkogluing him
― lag∞n, Friday, 20 February 2015 16:13 (nine years ago) link
and given the black hole that is the miami point guard situation he fills a need, that's probably worth a couple millies per year. his age is concerning but he's not going to fall off a cliff in all likelihood, and his age fits well with bosh/wade's window. it's a good get
― k3vin k., Friday, 20 February 2015 16:14 (nine years ago) link
two first round picks for the honor of maxing dragic out idk man
― lag∞n, Friday, 20 February 2015 16:14 (nine years ago) link
if they max him now before the cap raises it might be fine
