the real KJ mcdaniels story is that hinkie tries to fuck second round picks over on their contracts so mcdaniels took a one year deal that makes him a RFA this summer and the sixers don't wanna pay him

Cenk Akyol a 6'5 guard from Turkey, was drafted 59th in 2005 by Atlanta but has been traded 3 times within the last year.

Currently listed as the fourth-string SF for Anadolu Efes!

this is pretty disastrous for the suns obviously, but my feeling is that once they knew goran was gone for sure they realized they would have to start isiaih thomas, which isn't a great idea long-term, so they figured why not get rid of him too. you wonder whether if they had more time they could have gotten more for him, or if it would have been smarter to just wait until the offseason

i am just going by what i heard on the radio today so i'm sure i will change my opinions but quick impressions:

won't be tough to get in now that the suns are out of the picture, but it'll be interesting how high they can climb

btw i haven't even seen this whiteside guy play yet but if he's actually good the heat are probably the 4th best team in the east now easily
