i did hear something about limited streaming, i wonder what the limit is (apparently haven't hit it yet for anything).

Wondering how much these anti-streaming artists were making from radio airplay back in the day. I'd guess it was actually less.

is there a good "beginner's guide to using bandcamp" tutorial out there for first-time users from the artist side? i have used bandcamp plenty as a consumer/listener but i don't know anything from the other side and i need to get the ball rolling.

it's super easy, you just upload wav files and artwork and type words. they walk you through it.

they have to be wav files? see i didn't know that.
i don't know anything!

any lossless format - wav, aif, flac. then they automatically encode the compression versions (mp3s etc).

oh ok, i didn't realize that you can control/remove the streaming limit:
