how many allstars from the 2011 draft I wonder

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 28 January 2015 21:05 (nine years ago) link

it has not been a great year for my 2011 draft opinion

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 28 January 2015 21:06 (nine years ago) link

smh at myself

Spottie, Wednesday, 28 January 2015 21:07 (nine years ago) link

it's still a collection of nice players with little franchise shifting star power, but very good depth now

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 28 January 2015 21:08 (nine years ago) link

I'd prob swap cousins in for kd (bc he's missed half the year) or duncan (let the old man sit) but otherwise k3v otm.

o-TIM-DUNCAN-SAD-facebook.jpg (Clay), Wednesday, 28 January 2015 21:50 (nine years ago) link

u got to put kd in there CMON dont have the allstar game w/o the best player

lag∞n, Wednesday, 28 January 2015 21:51 (nine years ago) link

a couple weeks back I'd have Conley over cp3 too but the clips have really picked it up and you can't say paul doesn't belong.

o-TIM-DUNCAN-SAD-facebook.jpg (Clay), Wednesday, 28 January 2015 21:52 (nine years ago) link

he's played in like 4 games man idk

o-TIM-DUNCAN-SAD-facebook.jpg (Clay), Wednesday, 28 January 2015 21:52 (nine years ago) link

KD PLAYS THATS FINAL

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 28 January 2015 21:57 (nine years ago) link

oh wait sorry I thought you were saying it wasn't a great year for the 2011 draft in your opinion, I respect your yielding to the weight of the events

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 28 January 2015 21:58 (nine years ago) link

thabo can't shoot 3s

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 28 January 2015 21:58 (nine years ago) link

thabo more like thab no

lag∞n, Wednesday, 28 January 2015 21:59 (nine years ago) link

Curry should lose his spot for that TO last night.

feel like most of those would be pretty fuckin great matchups, honestly

indie fuxxor albums i have secretly spotified (slothroprhymes), Wednesday, 28 January 2015 22:29 (nine years ago) link

make it so

Sounds like a forks display name (forksclovetofu), Wednesday, 28 January 2015 22:29 (nine years ago) link

even the bucks would prob put up an ok fight against GSW, enough to avoid a complete sweep imo

indie fuxxor albums i have secretly spotified (slothroprhymes), Wednesday, 28 January 2015 22:30 (nine years ago) link

respect to jordan xps

Spottie, Wednesday, 28 January 2015 22:37 (nine years ago) link

bucks would almost certainly get swept by the warriors imo.

Hawks vs OKC in rd 1 is ruthless.

o-TIM-DUNCAN-SAD-facebook.jpg (Clay), Wednesday, 28 January 2015 22:43 (nine years ago) link

held today hawks win that no prob

lag∞n, Wednesday, 28 January 2015 22:45 (nine years ago) link

yeah okc doesnt look right yet

Spottie, Wednesday, 28 January 2015 22:47 (nine years ago) link

yeah on paper it's scarier than in okc's dysfunctional reality xp

o-TIM-DUNCAN-SAD-facebook.jpg (Clay), Wednesday, 28 January 2015 22:47 (nine years ago) link

maximum 3 east teams getting out of the first round

lag∞n, Wednesday, 28 January 2015 22:49 (nine years ago) link

(guaranteed one)

lag∞n, Wednesday, 28 January 2015 22:50 (nine years ago) link

honestly those playoffs look no more exciting than the current version

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 28 January 2015 22:53 (nine years ago) link

it might be more "fair" but i don't think from a watchability standpoint it's much better

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 28 January 2015 22:53 (nine years ago) link

you really have no preference between charlotte and okc

lag∞n, Wednesday, 28 January 2015 22:54 (nine years ago) link

one good west team will get left out, that's really the only thing this is fixing

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 28 January 2015 23:02 (nine years ago) link

thats an improvement!

lag∞n, Wednesday, 28 January 2015 23:03 (nine years ago) link

it also shd be noted at the same time leaves at least one really shitty team out

lag∞n, Wednesday, 28 January 2015 23:05 (nine years ago) link

i remain ambivalent about this and maintain that the playoffs are as much about teams banging into each other over the years as anything else

cleveland vs portland and dallas vs toronto do nothing for me, for instance

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 28 January 2015 23:05 (nine years ago) link

that is a fair assessment

o-TIM-DUNCAN-SAD-facebook.jpg (Clay), Wednesday, 28 January 2015 23:05 (nine years ago) link

look at the current matchups do they all do something for you guessing the answer is no

lag∞n, Wednesday, 28 January 2015 23:06 (nine years ago) link

no, of course not

i'm not saying that the current match ups are obviously better, just that these aren't either

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 28 January 2015 23:07 (nine years ago) link

playoff rivalries are cool for sure but even cooler is watching better teams play each other, besides it not too hard to imagine a way of keep conference seeding mostly intact

lag∞n, Wednesday, 28 January 2015 23:08 (nine years ago) link

well current matchups can also be setting shit up down the line. Portland vs Houston didn't mean a lot going into it last year, but if they met this year there'd be a little bit of stink to it. xps

o-TIM-DUNCAN-SAD-facebook.jpg (Clay), Wednesday, 28 January 2015 23:08 (nine years ago) link

listen just keep the conference seeding except move the extra teams from the one conference over to the conference that doesnt have enough, best of both worlds

lag∞n, Wednesday, 28 January 2015 23:10 (nine years ago) link

aw dammit my dudes are playing the cavs tonight and lebron's sitting :(

o-TIM-DUNCAN-SAD-facebook.jpg (Clay), Wednesday, 28 January 2015 23:11 (nine years ago) link

well current matchups can also be setting shit up down the line.

problem is in this open seeding scheme theyre less likely to reoccur year to year

lag∞n, Wednesday, 28 January 2015 23:11 (nine years ago) link

watching the sportscenter crawl in a bar b/c i hadn't left the house for two and a half days, did i really just see lebron james - questionable (wrists)?

indie fuxxor albums i have secretly spotified (slothroprhymes), Wednesday, 28 January 2015 23:26 (nine years ago) link

indie fuxxor albums i have secretly spotified (slothroprhymes), Wednesday, 28 January 2015 23:26 (nine years ago) link

or he could have fallen in the game and landed on both hands

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 28 January 2015 23:27 (nine years ago) link

Kobe out 9 months, just hang it up dude

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 28 January 2015 23:30 (nine years ago) link
