incidentally this [http://www.discogs.com/Mark-Pritchard--The-Hologram/release/1672841] new solo release from Pritchard is amazing. like Portishead's To Kill A Dead Man remade by Bohren & Der Club of Gore.

yeah i remember ... was it DJ? or mixmag? or muzik? one of them said "funkier than a ferret doing kung fu in a tracksuit and shelltoes" about the first jedi knights album. and they were RIGHT.
which led me to believe j saul kane was ghostwriting reviews at the time, btw.

The Way (Secret Ingredients Mix) is some pinnacle-of-recorded-sound shit for me so i guess i'll vote for SI. but really, everyone's a winner.

Man these freaking guys. . . Hard one but I'm going to listen to 76 14 in the next while, so I'll vote then.

"Mark and I can confirm we'll be putting together a run of Global Communication live shows for Q3 2011. Some will be seated concert performances of 76:14 , some will be live club/festival appearances and there will also be a few select back to back DJ appearances."
Apparently they're going to record together again as GC.

For someone that came of age in the 21st century it's not easy to find. Essentially this was the first time I ever used discogs marketplace, so availability wasn't the big issue, anyways.
― Boy Georbison (EDB), Thursday, 31 May 2012 08:31 (eleven years ago) link
7 years of no luck before turning to discogs marketplace, and less than a month later I see A Collection of Short Stories used. Bah...

It's excellent, and the track with Linda Perhacs on it is better than anything from her most recent album (I'm assuming she basically wrote the whole song).

Also Garda you need to listen to Parallelograms like immediately.
― Matt DC, Saturday, 4 June 2016 09:51 (seven years ago) link
I have been listening to it in the weeks and months since I highlighted this little known mark pritchard solo record!
― japanese mage (LocalGarda), Saturday, 4 June 2016 09:58 (seven years ago) link
Can even tolerate Yorke on this. Is the Beans track the one that is spoken word and is shite?
― japanese mage (LocalGarda), Saturday, 4 June 2016 13:34 (seven years ago) link
ha also "Infrared", which I'm assuming is Pritchard himself. For me, he could have lost those two tracks, and the album would be both a better length, and just better overall. But still, great surprise, would absolutely not mind more of the same from him
― Dominique, Saturday, 4 June 2016 14:10 (seven years ago) link
It is a great and varied record for sure.
― japanese mage (LocalGarda), Saturday, 4 June 2016 23:27 (seven years ago) link
Chameleon - Links is one of the very best things they did. The 'solo' in the middle when the previously straight break gets chopped up is just perfectly judged.
The Way (Secret Ingredients Mix) also up there.

Actually, this is probably the better mix of Atmosphere. I had this on a Jumpin Jack Frost mixtape where he played the “And Jack boldly declared...” house music monologue over the top of the intro. Legendary
