If you made up an adjective to describe Westbrook or MVP Rose, it would be “freakocious.” A ferocious freak, basically.

Marcus Smart, Elfrid Payton: 2015’s copresidents of the “If They Learn How To Shoot, Look Out!”
smart literally shooting 36% from three right now, a look at his shot chart will tell u the problem has actually been his finishing at the rim aka the thing everyone thought he was good at

feel like he has a good chance to improve significantly there, he looks hesitant when he drives leading me to believe its just something he needs to figure out rather than something hes not capable of

57. Draymond Green56. Goran DragicDraymond is Golden State’s best defender,
wut

dub's best defender without lingering health issues?
― pursuit of happiness (art), Friday, 23 January 2015 16:46 (nine years ago) link
hes a really good defender for sure tho a lil undersized, just a weird thing to say about a team that has a legit great defender
― lag∞n, Friday, 23 January 2015 16:47 (nine years ago) link
oh yeah definitely agree. i like simmons but he gets excited and says dumb things sometimes

52. Kevin Love
not gonna bother counting how many players above love who irl their teams wld trade for him but its a lot

― J0rdan S., Friday, 23 January 2015 18:14 (nine years ago) link
everyone jumping on love for half a season being depressed and bad on a team where everyone has been depressed and bad prob wldnt make very good GMs imho
― lag∞n, Friday, 23 January 2015 18:24 (nine years ago) link
his value was already lower in the league than outside of it, and now this, plus you're only getting him for a half a season potentially
― J0rdan S., Friday, 23 January 2015 18:30 (nine years ago) link
i stand by my initial statement
― lag∞n, Friday, 23 January 2015 18:40 (nine years ago) link
btw if cleveland were to sell low on love it wld lead to some excellent file for later takes all across the basketballashpere
― lag∞n, Friday, 23 January 2015 18:43 (nine years ago) link
well clearly part of the reason he's so low is that he's a free agent next year
calling draymond the best defender on the dubs is defensible, he can really guard anyone and the advanced numbers love him
― k3vin k., Saturday, 24 January 2015 01:21 (nine years ago) link
no
― lag∞n, Saturday, 24 January 2015 01:21 (nine years ago) link
Yeah no draymond is mad good but healthy bogut is an all-world defender
― we just form a f#!king wall (agent hibachi), Saturday, 24 January 2015 01:27 (nine years ago) link
take away bogut' stall points from RPM and they're probably neck and neck lol
― k3vin k., Saturday, 24 January 2015 01:28 (nine years ago) link
i mean dray is an all-world defender it's not up for debate
― k3vin k., Saturday, 24 January 2015 01:30 (nine years ago) link
all world is excessive imo idk know what stall points from RPM mean but it sounds like a bunch of baloney and i have already disproven you anyway by debating it
― lag∞n, Saturday, 24 January 2015 01:32 (nine years ago) link
damn that's true
stall points = tall points
― k3vin k., Saturday, 24 January 2015 01:33 (nine years ago) link
even if dray is all world their relative style of play man defense v rim protection imo makes their value no comparison, bogut is of course also a very good man on man defender
― lag∞n, Saturday, 24 January 2015 01:43 (nine years ago) link
So is draymond. It's pretty close but bogut healthy gets the edge I guess Altho kev otm about draymonds versatility. I feel like he's learned a ton from Iggy but also just has that aggression to want to guard bigger guys, he owns Blake one on one
― Spottie, Saturday, 24 January 2015 02:09 (nine years ago) link
blakes not bigger tho
― lag∞n, Saturday, 24 January 2015 02:53 (nine years ago) link
like dray is very game but i suspect a good team with a large leet pf cld take advantage of his size, zbo dirk and so forth
― lag∞n, Saturday, 24 January 2015 02:56 (nine years ago) link
he's got like 3" on him and probably like 20-25lbs
― Spottie, Saturday, 24 January 2015 02:57 (nine years ago) link
short arms tho
― lag∞n, Saturday, 24 January 2015 02:58 (nine years ago) link
him and zbo was a blast to watch for sure. def harder for dray but he did well.
― Spottie, Saturday, 24 January 2015 02:58 (nine years ago) link
klay isn't bad

So I'm guessing the trade value top 3 goes 3 Lebron 2 durant 1 curry right?
Esp given that contracts are considered and curry is now probably the best bargain in the league, I guess if you give more weight to "who do you want for ten years" durant might be the better bet bc of injury history but I'm guessing simmons can't resist the dubs momentum
Ooh wait actually he might put the brow and harden up there...over Lebron??
― we just form a f#!king wall (agent hibachi), Saturday, 24 January 2015 15:28 (nine years ago) link
brow has to be #1
― lag∞n, Saturday, 24 January 2015 15:29 (nine years ago) link
If it was a straight "pick one franchise guy and you have him for ten years" tho the answer is probably the brow
― we just form a f#!king wall (agent hibachi), Saturday, 24 January 2015 15:29 (nine years ago) link
Ha xp
hes on the verge of being the best player in the nba and because no one ever turns down that first contract you have him for six more years and hes cheap for another year and a half
― lag∞n, Saturday, 24 January 2015 15:30 (nine years ago) link
also fwiw ive been thinking about the kevin love situation and i realized he will 100% exercise his player option next year because hes waiting on the big cap bump in two year but he cant just sign a one year deal with another team next year because bird rights dont come with a one year deal and if a team doesnt have bird rights they cant offer the 5 year super max, so if kevin love wants the five year super max in two years when the salary cap goes up he must opt in next season*
so hypothetical trading for love a. includes that he will def be with the team next year b. gives that team a very good chance of resigning him via big bird rights contract†
*i think this is how it works lol
†obvs theres a chance he will forgo his opportunity for a five year max and switch to a team he prefers to the one holding his bird rights, i just doubt he will do it preemptively next year, tho its maybe more likely if things keep not working out on the cavs, conclusion trade love
― lag∞n, Saturday, 24 January 2015 15:39 (nine years ago) link
btw month to date love is averaging 20-11, shooting still a little off at 44/29/80, but hes trending int he right direction
