i've had some time to think about this (in my sleep) and all i can figure is that a. gay dude was being "theatrical" (everyone in the shop seems "friendly" enough) b. she got embarassed c. she got nervous since i guess (a) i wasn't supposed to be behind the counter and (b) i wasnt supposed to be sexin the employees.

It's a sad story Jess, and I feel disappointed, but I don't think all hope is lost. If she kissed you back for 15 seconds, I would imagine the kneeing was an "Oh shit, I might get sacked" reaction, and she might be very apologetic if you call her - though I would give it a while.
