one year passes...

Not that i have much of a clothes budget right now, and not that i love Frank & Oak's men's clothes all that much in the first place but some of them are quite nice, and they're a Montreal brand, so I was looking forward to their first women's collection - and it's SO BORING. Plus I'm pretty sure most of it wouldn't look great on me because boobs. And a little chat box opens at the bottom of the screen and asks "oversize, regular or boxy? ask us about our fit" or whatever - like those are the fashion choices in their world?? they even have a "boy tee" that looks exactly like the t-shirts my bf buys at walmart, right down to the thick collar. I guess I will keep buying my t-shirts at shows haha

anyway, they have mock turtlenecks (of course) and i needed a thread to rant in. it's not quite bad enough for the normcore thread but it's close...

I got a wicked haul at the Frank & Ocean warehouse sale a few weeks ago and my gf, jelly of my haul, was eagerly anticipating the ladies' collection but was similarly disappointed

Turtlenecks - both real and mock - are a rare enough sight in the UK that they're note considered normcore. Actually the mock TN I own that I mentioned upthread is probably the least normcore item of clothing I own.

remember to accesorize your turtleneck with a tobacco pipe of some kind

Maybe I could offset the Frenchness by simultaneously holding aloft a giant vegetable, possibly a marrow.
