Does last.fm allow you to limit listings to bands that are in your library, or at least limit the number of recommendations? That's really the issue I'm having -- I already have good comprehensive listings, but I'm in the in NYC market and with two small children I just don't have time to scan those (there are currently 732 scheduled shows that I could potentially be interested in) and I invariably miss stuff that I would've like to have seen.
The two things I miss most about iConcertCal are:- limited to my artist library- calendar view as opposed to list view
Doesn't look like anything else offers those, but I maybe I'll give last.fm a shot. Any idea if it scobbles from 3rd party apps -- most of my listening these days is through the CanOpener iPhone app for headphone crossfeed.

not bands in your library, but http://www.last.fm/events/+place/United+States/New+York?showAll=0 will default to recommended shows and should give you a manageable list once it knows what kind of music you like. I suspect it only scrobbles through the last.fm software though.
