Burnette is a cover too. Is great version and I love a lot of the Burnette stuff from this era. There's a great Charly cd with most of it that's dead cheap.Paul Burlison the guitarist has been cited as an influence by Richard Thompson among others. Though I think Tav or somebody in Ghosts Behind The Sun says the guitar was actually played by somebody else.I think the original version of the song is a jump blues by Tiny Bradshaw. Think that's pretty wild itself.
