“OUR FAMOUS KUMA BURGER” Bacon, Cheddar, Fried Egg
10

CLASSIC I LIKE THIS ONE A LOT BUT REALLY ITS JUST A BURGER W/ A FRIED EGG ON IT

KAIJO Bacon, Bleu Cheese, Frizzled Onions
10

THIS IS DECENT, NO COMPLAINTS BUT NO RAVES

BLACK SABBATH Blackening Spice, Chili, Pepper Jack, Red Onion
10

THIS IS XLNT LIKE A HAMBURGER SLOPPY JOE

YOB Smoked Gouda, Bacon, Roasted Red Peppers, Roasted Garlic Mayo
10

THIS IS NICE TOO, GOOD BALANCE BETWEEN THE PEPPERS AND THE GARLIC MAYO

IRON MAIDEN Avocado, Cherry Peppers, Pepper Jack, Chipotle Mayo
10

I HAD THIS TONIGHT, WAS NOT BLOWN AWAY BUT THE CHERRY PEPPERS DO GIVE A NEEDED ZING

SLAYER Pile of fries topped with a ½ lb. Burger, Chili, Cherry Peppers, Andouille, Onions, Jack Cheese, and Anger
12

THIS IS A MONSTER. DELICIOUS BUT U HAVE TO BE READY TO DEAL WITH THE ANDOUILLE. ALSO THE ANGER

NEUROSIS Cheddar, Swiss, Sautéed Mushrooms, Caramelized Onions, Horseradish Mayo
10

THIS WAS VERY VERY SOLID. B+ BUT I LOVE SAUTEED SHROOMS

METALLICA Buffalo Sauce, Bacon, Bleu Cheese Dressing
10

THIS IS TOP FIVE MATERIAL MAYBE, YOU DONT NORMALLY THIS WITH BEEF BUT IT WORKED HERE

MELVINS Fresh Basil, Prosciutto, Mozzarella, Tomato, Onion
10

THIS IS IN MY TOP THREE, MAYBE TOP TWO. FLAVORS ARE INCREDIBLE!!! GET THIS

CLUTCH Cheddar, Swiss, Jack, Smoked Gouda
10

THIS WAS PRETTY NASTY, WAY TOO MUCH DAMN CHEESE. PROBABLY AT THE BOTTOM OF THE STACK

MASTODON BBQ Sauce, Cheddar, Bacon, Frizzled Onions
10

PRETTY STRAIGHTFORWARD BUT ITS HARD TO FUCK UP A CLASSIC

LED ZEPPELIN Pulled Pork, Bacon, Cheddar, Pickles
11

I WAS LESS OF A FAN OF THIS, I THINK ZEPPELIN DESERVE BETTER, BUT ITS NOT TERRIBLE OR ANYTHING, LIKE THE CLUTCH

JUDAS PRIEST Bacon, Bleu Cheese Dressing with Apples, Walnuts, and dried cranberries
10

THIS WAS OUR DESERT BURGER TONIGHT. IMPECCABLE!!! A TOP FIVE BURGER FOR SURE. I NEVER WOULD HAVE EXPECTED THESE INGREDIENTS TO WORK TOGETHER AS WELL AS THEY DO

MOTORHEAD Goat Cheese, Kalamata Olives, Oregano, Tzatziki, Onion, Tomato
10

ANOTHER TOP FIVE, IF YOU LIKE GREEK FOOD, AS I DO, THEN U WILL LOVE THE MOTORHEAD!!!!

MAYHEM Sliced Jalapenos, Pancetta, Pepper Jack, Gardinera Mayo
10

I BARELY REMEMBER THIS, BUT NOT IN THAT GOOD 'BECAUSE IT ERASED MY BRAIN'-ALCOHOL RELATED WAY, MORE IN THAT SOLID BUT FORGETTABLE WAY

DARK THRONE Chipotle Peppers, Goat Cheese, Fresh Pico de Gallo
10

THIS IS AN AMAZING BURGER, IF U LIKE SPICE U HAVE TO GET THIS ONE. POSSIBLE TOP 3

GOBLIN COCK Bacon, Cheddar Cheese, ¼lb. Vienna Hot Dog, Tomatoes, Onion, Neon Green Relish, Sport Peppers, Pickles, Celery Salt Mustard
12

THIS IS PRETTY LOL BUT ALSO PRETTY ONE-NOTE GIMMICKY. I DON'T THINK I NEED TO EAT IT EVER AGAIN BUT IT WOULD BE WEIRD TO SAY ITS 'BAD' THAT IS KIND OF THE POINT

MINSK Pastrami, Swiss Cheese, Sauerkraut, Brown Mustard
12

5/5 TASTE EXPLOSIONS!!! I LOVE A REUBEN AND IF YOU DO ALSO THEN GET THIS BURGER, THE PASTRAMI AND KRAUT ARE LOADED ON THIS SHIT. DELICIOUS

deej, Wednesday, 28 November 2007 05:09 (sixteen years ago) link

I saw this ad on the subway today for a hospital with new, roomier MRI machines. It showed a big man about to go into it with his hands behind his head, straight relaxin'. It said they can accomodate people up to 550 pounds.

stingy, Wednesday, 28 November 2007 15:23 (sixteen years ago) link

Fatties be MRIin'

I had a big milestone this morning: this was the first time I have ever fallen asleep oin the train and missed my stop on the way to work. Awesome!

kenan, Wednesday, 28 November 2007 15:48 (sixteen years ago) link

I woke up at Randolph. I get off at Clark and Division. I got a good extra 15 minutes of sleep in there.

kenan, Wednesday, 28 November 2007 15:49 (sixteen years ago) link

Better Randolph than Chinatown.

Eazy, Wednesday, 28 November 2007 15:56 (sixteen years ago) link

lucky that you actually get to sit down on the train in the morning!

stingy, Wednesday, 28 November 2007 15:58 (sixteen years ago) link

The trains have been really empty the past couple of days. Maybe I'm just lucky. But even on a regular day, you can usually get a seat if you are getting on north of Sheridan.

Jesse, Wednesday, 28 November 2007 16:00 (sixteen years ago) link

yeah, I get a seat more often than not. North siders represent what? The butt.

kenan, Wednesday, 28 November 2007 16:02 (sixteen years ago) link

I get a seat maybe half the time when I first get on the train, but if I don't, I'm usually able to score one at Belmont, when riders switch to the Red Line.

jaymc, Wednesday, 28 November 2007 16:03 (sixteen years ago) link

Also that Chic-A-G0-G0 video was rad!

jaymc, Wednesday, 28 November 2007 16:03 (sixteen years ago) link

i've told you about the time i left the h0liday club at 2 in the morning and got back to my house at 7 because i kept "falling asleep" on the train, right?

chicago kevin, Wednesday, 28 November 2007 16:04 (sixteen years ago) link

Why is "falling asleep" in quotes? Were you actually not falling asleep, but giving the treatment to Rebecca De Mornay, Risky Business stylee?

kenan, Wednesday, 28 November 2007 16:07 (sixteen years ago) link

can someone tell me about this holiday train? it's supposed to be on the blue line today. i don't want to miss out!

stingy, Wednesday, 28 November 2007 16:09 (sixteen years ago) link

"falling asleep" after being at the h0liday club for four hours with a bartender who doesn't charge me.

holiday train has a couple cars done up in lights with hoiday ornamentation on and in them. usually accompanied by screaming kids. i got caught on it on the green line once a couple years ago, i try to avoid it.

chicago kevin, Wednesday, 28 November 2007 16:14 (sixteen years ago) link

It went past the Clark/Lake elevated platform while I was waiting for the Orange line the other day, but it didn't stop. I don't really know anything about it, other than it looked pretty funny with no-one but an operator on it.

dan m, Wednesday, 28 November 2007 16:14 (sixteen years ago) link

Ben Tausig's puzzle here is really good.

Jordan, Wednesday, 28 November 2007 16:26 (sixteen years ago) link

I'm guessing that's the same as his Reader puzzle, in which case I'm going to save it for the el this evening.

jaymc, Wednesday, 28 November 2007 16:35 (sixteen years ago) link

The holiday train is fine. But the Blessed Train is the BEST train.

Jesse, Wednesday, 28 November 2007 17:19 (sixteen years ago) link

I joined the Y yesterday. I'm a little apprehensive 'cause it was totally crowded and cramped in the gym afterwork, but my last gym was run by Xtian fundamentalists folks, so at least I'm not supporting evil.

Jordan, Wednesday, 28 November 2007 18:15 (sixteen years ago) link

Also it's way cheaper.
