I always book travel through JFK rather than lga telling myself I'll save money and take the subway there and back-- I'm always late as fuck on my departure and burnt as fuck on my return and end up getting a cab both ways. I guess I'm saying worth it IMO. Except the elevated track ride from JFK to wmsburg does show you some interesting backsides of queens and Brooklyn.

Think it's mandated by law that it's a flat fare between JFK and ... Manhattan? Not sure how much of BKLYN is included in that

Also kaz an nou is a great French Caribbean place sorta nearby on 6th and dean. Haven't been in a while but food was great as of 18 months ago.
