I think because I'm funny, and fairly smart. I'm reasonably sure it's not my looks. I know lots of useful trivia. I still try to trade on having been an alt.rock DJ on a community radio station in Tampa for 12 years, but I don't think that really works anymore.

I have really horrible self esteem.

I can be fun, when I'm not busy trying to act "too cool" - which I've been accused of doing once in awhile. Though most of my friends are phonies as well, so maybe they like me specifically for that trait.

I've been told by practically everybody I know that I have a good heart, which I guess could be a reason why the people who like me, like me. I've also heard the word "endearing" being used to describe me, which is a rather good quality to have I feel.

Thank goodness people have told me this, because otherwise I couldn't have come up with anything.
