love the idea of someone pulling out a briefcase at a business meeting with a ZX81 in it with 16k ram extension cartridge, cassette deck and the worst printer ever made.

can anyone remember the Sharp MZ80k? Built in tape deck and monitor - type of machine you could really make the nerve-centre of your business!

hah! proper bit of kit was that!
I can remember going to a computer club at the local community centre in the 80's which was just basically a hub of software piracy and violence. And saying that - copying games on a tape to tape deck there was usually a very slim chance of it working. There was a violent Scottish woman who used to wear slippers in the town centre and swear 50 times a minute. Someone borrowed some hardware off her boyfriend and broke it and she beat him up quite badly and pushed him down some stone steps outside!

from what i can remember of the MZ80k was that all the games on it seemed to written in basic and utilising its own built in graphics/symbols set.

urgh I really want a retro looking keyboard with orange, black and white keys. Seems you have to buy a keyboard and then buy the keys separately but sounds like a great recipe for me breaking those said keys.
