Episode 88 was so epic I figured there would be some fall off in ep 89 but the whole making baby argument made me scared of jonathon and completely bummed me out.

I just listened to these two, and yeah. 88 hysterical, all-time amazing, several of the best anecdotes ever, and then 89 was traumatic and horrible. It's like listening to your parents fight. I heard 89 once before but had forgotten how stressful it actually was.

was that the gas leak episode? I feel like that was theyre only fight ever because they still reference it

yah but the reveal that there was a gas leak during that recording didnt come until about 10 episodes later iirc

jonathan does say "i feel like the whole room just turned upside down" at one point and then they just move on. seth reveals in a later ep that he woke up that night to discover the gas leak.

yeah i remember that. so weird.

since VG posted a UYD Craigslist video for me on my birthday im so tempted to go back to the beginning and start all over again.

i used to have a 3 hour mp3 of every single craigslist segment edited together but i dont anymore and i cant find it in the forums

I just remembered I sent Seth a postcard while I was in Orlando a couple of weeks ago informing him I had yet to see someone set something on fire but that he should pray for me anyway.

A couple of days later I watched the Orlando news for the first and only time I was there. In the one news cast a guy had shot his family then set them on fire and another dude had set his house on fire with his family still alive in there.

They really do set everything on fire!!

I'll prob never do it but if I did I'd probably leave out all the "something funny happened the other day" stuff, or limit it to just the best/most pertinent

54:06 – Jonathan’s story about meeting with commercial agents. Lady: “What’s your look? I just want to take out a pair of scissors and trim your beard.” Jah: “That wouldn’t be cool with me, I’m Muslim.” Seth: “Oh, what the fuck man!!”

I'll always remember that story about him climbing into the girl's bedroom after he got busted for drugs

iirc He was supposed to go to a concert with a girl, but then he got arrested, so he was grounded, and the girl went to the show. Jah snuck out of his house and climbed into the girl's bedroom to wait for her to get back from the show.

another great story:

Jah explains that his host in Benjamin Hill, Mexico, named Cain, found out early on that Jah was looking for weed and took him to a dude’s house (scariest guy Jah’s ever met) and he bought a huge bag of crazy marijuana from him. He got down toward the bottom of the bag and realized there was half a gram of cocaine lining the bottom of the bag and he’d been smoking a bag of coco puffs the whole time he was there. Cain also set up a movie viewing experience in Jah’s room with a film projector and the dirtiest Mexican porn Jah had ever seen. All of Jah’s friends were in there watching it while smoking coco puffs, and halfway through the movie Jah got a raging hard-on and forced everyone out of the room except for one girl, and had terrible coked-out awful sex with her while a crazy porn is playing on the projector in the background. He found this girl on Myspace recently, she’s married now, he sent her a message congratulating her on the baby and she never responded. Cain was 30-something years old and still in high school, he had a beautiful wife. He had two girlfriends who were 15-year-old high schoolers. Jah recalls he was a terrible man. Months later a teacher came up to him at school and said they kept getting phone calls at school from a man named Cain, because Jah had promised to send crazy shit down to Mexico for him.
