"Taco Bell's plans are to do breakfast with mostly portable items that its Millennial base can hold in one hand and cellphones in the other."

"'We don't use buns or burgers or circular things at breakfast — that's not who we are."

otm, circular things have no place at breakfast!!

i am ok with this taco bell invention in theory. but i'd prefer that they use their lab time to invent new ways of combining ground beef, nacho cheese, and frito-lay products.

Disgusting and I want one anyway.

doesn't all the potato just seep out while you eat??

j., Thursday, 6 March 2014 06:54 (ten years ago) link

You're right, they should fry that into a potato pancake first.

POO: the blossom or full flower of the evening (Sufjan Grafton), Friday, 7 March 2014 15:48 (ten years ago) link

excuse me, "golden twister fries"

POO: the blossom or full flower of the evening (Sufjan Grafton), Friday, 7 March 2014 15:49 (ten years ago) link

iirc arby's uses them as a way to recycle substandard potatoes into a saleable product

have a nice blood (mh), Friday, 7 March 2014 15:58 (ten years ago) link

iirc arby's roast beef is made from powder and gelatin

POO: the blossom or full flower of the evening (Sufjan Grafton), Friday, 7 March 2014 16:01 (ten years ago) link

prosperity beef, mcdonald's u.s. should try that one, might deflect some of their labor troubles

I have grown to love austerity beef

Arby's really is the worst tasting chain food I think I have ever eaten

james franco tur(oll)ing test (Hurting 2), Friday, 7 March 2014 16:07 (ten years ago) link

to full appreciate arby's, you have to loudly order two "Big Montanas" and then look around the restaurant expecting everyone's approval.

since chinese new year, traditional fries have been unavailable at mcdonalds in favor of curly fries (at least when i left in february)
DYAO PLEASE CONFIRM

dylannn, Friday, 7 March 2014 16:21 (ten years ago) link

my lunch yesterday was 2 mcdonalds poutines. they replaced the back in the day plastic containers with a waxed cardboard box, which isn't an improvement.
