I'm 100% sure that he postprocesses the stuff he shoots on a computer before uploading it to Vine/Instagram

乒乓, Thursday, 26 December 2013 02:57 (ten years ago) link

how do you put a edited video into vine, been wondering

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 16:48 (ten years ago) link

just realized i could google that

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 16:48 (ten years ago) link

Probably jailbreak it. Or maybe there's some program that will interface with the Vine API

乒乓, Thursday, 26 December 2013 16:50 (ten years ago) link

i guess you just have to use some software to expose yr phones file structure to yr computer then u drag a video into the right folder

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 16:50 (ten years ago) link

i dont think vine has a public api

lag∞n, Thursday, 26 December 2013 16:51 (ten years ago) link

first of all that was an instagram video. so you can just film all day on your iPhone camera and with the 5s you can do slo-mo and such and then just import it into instagram.

Spottie, Thursday, 26 December 2013 18:05 (ten years ago) link

lets not get too nitpicky about this ok it was a cool vine and thats all that really matters

As a lifelong and passionate Kentucky Wildcats fan, I can never get enough Ant Davis. As years go by, it will become more and more clear just how much easier he made his 2012 teammates' jobs. I think we thought we knew it at the time, but I'm not sure human brains could process his importance.

Played a ton of pick up ball with a one-armed dude 10 years back. He was incredible. Probably could have played at least junior college level ball.

That Sun was REALLY committed to getting that rebound so as not to let that xover go to waste.

, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:36 (nine years ago) link

im just gonna come right out and say this a lot of people wont like it but its got to be said a lot of supposedly sick crossovers just lead to step back jumpers so whats the point really if you took a step back that means you were well defended a far as im concerned

lag∞n, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:43 (nine years ago) link

yeah agree the best crossovers lead to layups or smashes. however any time someone falls to the ground or goes tumbling based on a crossover is still cool.

Mathew Klickbait (Spottie), Friday, 24 October 2014 02:51 (nine years ago) link

Well my #1 crossover of all time (like a lot of folks) is AI on MJ which led to a stepback jumper

, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:51 (nine years ago) link

i... know

lag∞n, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:52 (nine years ago) link

I think a stepback jumper is a pretty good outcome esp if they tried to put someone bigger on the ball (like MJ on AI)

There are three elements I consider 1) elegance of the move 2) reaction of the defender 3) outcome (made shot or layup or w/e)

In this latest gif only 2) is present and it's pretty exaggerated

Hence the low score

, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:53 (nine years ago) link

I weigh 1) pretty heavily which is why I don't like Kyrie his handle is ungly imo

, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:55 (nine years ago) link

the reason guys end up taking jumpers is often the crossover itself puts the ball handler way off balance and unable to drive to the hoop, you could say they

http://i.imgur.com/c0eu6hv.jpg

crossed themselves over

lag∞n, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:55 (nine years ago) link

yah i only posted it because cunningham died and is in heaven b/c of the crossover

Clay, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:56 (nine years ago) link

the running out of bounds is very primo dont get me wrong

stepback j is basically a shot anyone can get any time

lag∞n, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:57 (nine years ago) link

Maybe but for example Steph is very good at this and he's always perfectly balanced after the cross xp

, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:57 (nine years ago) link

I think good handlers don't drive after the cross because they are afraid of the shotblocker (unless you're AI)

, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:58 (nine years ago) link

Help defense is really good in the NBA these days too

, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:58 (nine years ago) link

good elements i can agree to those. making the shot def important

Mathew Klickbait (Spottie), Friday, 24 October 2014 02:59 (nine years ago) link

steph is different cause stepbacks are good shots for him

lag∞n, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:59 (nine years ago) link

In conclusion all I want of a good cross is for the move to be beautiful

, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:59 (nine years ago) link

bledsoe gets a really really wide open three there, he just missed it, he is mortal

Clay, Friday, 24 October 2014 02:59 (nine years ago) link

one of my favs didn't result in a stumble but resulted in stepping into a spot where he could get the shot up
