The last 3 on this are just about perfect.

six years pass...

I just got this. The 2013 High Moon records reissue. On second listen and it's lovely.

I heard Clark for the first time ever only a few weeks back when I slightly randomly picked up the amazing No Other reissue. I feel I'm catching up.

There's a lot to cover. It's kind of neat how all his main releases, while clearly the same songwriter, don't really sound alike.

xp I recommend going straight to White Light next, and then the Gosdin Brothers record

Don't sleep on Roadmaster!

Yes, I like that one.

And both but Esp the first Dillard and Clark.

i like the first dillard and clark a lot, the opening track "out on the side" (or something like that) is a cracker

Hear the Wind is among his best country songs

I've got White Light and also picked up the two Dillard albums on one CD. Maybe late Clark resonates with me more, but this album has (admittedly only on first or second listens) been my favourite aside from No Other

I agree with Dan. Quite a variation in style and sound.
