I haven't really heard any Bardo Pond since Amanita but the new one is fantastic.

Still think the peyote blues of Set & Setting are the BP best, but Peace on Venus is immense.

Love the s/t (it's the album that sorta brought me back to this band after years of being outta the loop a bit) but the "Fir" > "Chance" > "Before The Moon" run of songs at the end of the new one is some next level shit (that may just be 'side 2,' dunno, haven't gotten vinyl version yet)

How did I only find out today about "Rise Above it All" and their cover of "Maggot Brain"? That EP (or whatever they're calling it) blows away anything from "Peace on Venus".
