sounds like Bendtner is dying out there

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVzmecHQ4TM (Noodle Vague), Tuesday, 29 October 2013 20:58 (ten years ago) link

Jol's last match, maybe?

ineloquentwow (Craigo Boingo), Tuesday, 29 October 2013 21:58 (ten years ago) link

Januzaj is going to be the best player in the league by the time he hits his mid-twenties

although it might be the Spanish league

Number None, Tuesday, 29 October 2013 22:01 (ten years ago) link

On my way back from tonight's game, was actually a pretty even game just that arsenal were very... Arsenal.
Chelsea were also very Chelsea

Both these things are depressing

not lazy but clowning (Suedey 2), Tuesday, 29 October 2013 22:44 (ten years ago) link

Jenko, Ryo and Bendtner were all rubbish, subs came too late. Saw the crowd being criticised for getting on big Nicks back...
But at some point he could stop being shit, honestly the ball was bouncing off him everywhere and he ruined every single good attacking move

I was ready to love you bargain basement zlatan

not lazy but clowning (Suedey 2), Tuesday, 29 October 2013 22:52 (ten years ago) link

Where were you sitting? I'm making my North Bank debut on Saturday (sort of) and hoping for some atmosphere.

Ismael Klata, Tuesday, 29 October 2013 22:58 (ten years ago) link

I was in the east stand, and before that the clock end. I think if you want atmosphere the north bank seems a good bet, as do most of the lower tiers.

But really the best option if you're after atmosphere would be the away section

Truly embarrassing scenes at St James park. Security banning anybody from sitting in the anti-Ashley section. But the fans just run past.

This is kinda excellent. If you must be a despot, might as well ham it up imo

Paul McShane nets for Hull, shame on you WHL crowd

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 30 October 2013 22:00 (ten years ago) link

I last saw 1 1 whats the sitch there

midwife christless (darraghmac), Wednesday, 30 October 2013 22:07 (ten years ago) link

Penalties at whl. Hull missed one.

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 30 October 2013 22:21 (ten years ago) link

2-1 to Spurs after two penalties each

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 30 October 2013 22:22 (ten years ago) link

Ismael, will you be attempting to take the North Bank all by yourself on Saturday?

pandemic, Wednesday, 30 October 2013 22:24 (ten years ago) link

Have Spurs really lost their last 7 shootout's before tonight?

pandemic, Wednesday, 30 October 2013 22:26 (ten years ago) link

I reckon I could if I have to, yeah xp - was watching Awaydays the other night, it's got me right in the mood for some old-school berserking. I was getting my hair cut yesterday, was so tempted to ask for a wedge.

It shows up as North Bank on the seating plan - but actually I'll be right down at the touchline by the corner flag, so not sure why.

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 30 October 2013 22:28 (ten years ago) link

This shootout has turned pretty great actually

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 30 October 2013 22:29 (ten years ago) link

ooh McShane

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 30 October 2013 22:29 (ten years ago) link

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 30 October 2013 22:30 (ten years ago) link

preferably imo they booed him on but highly unlikely

midwife christless (darraghmac), Wednesday, 30 October 2013 22:44 (ten years ago) link

I could barely hear a thing tbh - recurring pop-ups with audio are a blight on humanity

Pleased for you. Intermittent lulls amid periods of quasi crisis is pretty much my ideal scenario for you this season.

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 18 December 2013 21:33 (ten years ago) link

away games have not been our problem this year

two weeks pass...

Got to rack up some goals tonight if we're to have any chance what with the second leg being at Old Trafford

Pre-Madonna (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Tuesday, 7 January 2014 19:51 (ten years ago) link

United doing well here, Sunderland have created very little

Pre-Madonna (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Tuesday, 7 January 2014 20:33 (ten years ago) link

This season's all about the charity shield, anyway.

Pre-Madonna (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Tuesday, 7 January 2014 20:33 (ten years ago) link

Bit scrappy. Utd just need to keep their heads, they're better than Sunderland and have already turned things round there once this season.

Ismael Klata, Tuesday, 7 January 2014 20:37 (ten years ago) link

First penalty for two years iirc?

Ismael Klata, Tuesday, 7 January 2014 21:05 (ten years ago) link

always knew Borini would come good

Ismael Klata, Tuesday, 7 January 2014 21:07 (ten years ago) link

Yes, Rafael, what we really need now is yet another spectacularly stupid red card (after Valencia and your brother's fantastic contributions)

Pre-Madonna (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Tuesday, 7 January 2014 21:10 (ten years ago) link

Oh aye, with an added bonus of us all looking like extras in a terrible beer advert when said mate's joy turned to despair when Man U scored to take it to penalties, when he'd thought his money was safe on a Sunderland win.

Also, comedy goalkeeping.

Hmm is this worth gettin out the bath for

politically autocorrect (darraghmac), Sunday, 2 March 2014 14:24 (ten years ago) link

Klata right about Borini all along

The presence of Demichellis in this team is allowing Kompany to get away with an awful lot of substandard performances without attracting negative comment. Imo

pandemic, Sunday, 2 March 2014 14:24 (ten years ago) link

Causal possibility?

politically autocorrect (darraghmac), Sunday, 2 March 2014 14:31 (ten years ago) link

Possibly

Has Dzeko touched the ball yet?

pandemic, Sunday, 2 March 2014 14:38 (ten years ago) link

― pandemic, Sunday, 2 March 2014 14:24 (14 minutes ago)

none of the hacks who went after demichelis after his stupid penalty vs barcelona mentioned it was kompany's failure to keep to the line that left messi onside

Joyeux animaux de la misère (nakhchivan), Sunday, 2 March 2014 14:40 (ten years ago) link

i still distrust rafael honigstein after he compared dzeko to rvp as one of those rare #9s who can act as a playmaker and focal point for the rest of the attack

he has a fairly good scoring record with city but his general play is fairly crap, especially compared to negredo

Joyeux animaux de la misère (nakhchivan), Sunday, 2 March 2014 14:59 (ten years ago) link

Jesus what a goal

pandemic, Sunday, 2 March 2014 15:12 (ten years ago) link

2 goals 2 mins.

pandemic, Sunday, 2 March 2014 15:14 (ten years ago) link

technique from Nasri there

All 3 goals completely unsaveable

pandemic, Sunday, 2 March 2014 15:14 (ten years ago) link

Actually think that was a penalty tbh

pandemic, Sunday, 2 March 2014 15:17 (ten years ago) link

Matt DC, Sunday, 2 March 2014 15:24 (ten years ago) link
