It was not my plan to sell the wave runners until Wednesday. I called Frank’s work cell and the girl in his office answered and when I asked for Frank she said “he is no longer with the company” to which I replied “what, excuse me?” then she told me he had resigned. I knew he was unhappy there but it never occurred to me that he would just up and quit with no job lined up and knowing that we have a SHIT LOAD of bills and my salary leaves us about $3,000 short of paying those bills every month. So, I had to make some hard choices and that was to sell the wave runners.

Amused to open this thread for the first time today and see caek had received a misdirected email from a namesake of mine.

I've had a few misdirected emails myself, from a father to his grown-up kids. First one was regarding all his documentation, pension paperwork, "in case anything were to happen". There's two more short ones to the son sharing my name, but he never follows up. The sender address is from a legit law firm in the States, I seem to get the emails because of the way gmail handles addresses; johnasmith and john.a.smith would go to the same account.

I once wrongly received an email looking for a namesake to provide a job reference for someone in New Zealand. Did reply to that one to point out the mistake.

Lots of exciting stories there...

looking ahead to a better future

Just to let you all know that we are going to be starting a women only prayer group on
Wednesday nights. It will be posted in the bulletin the Sunday before it starts. I will
remind you if it is this Wednesday or not since I had forgotten about it being the day
before Thanksgiving. We had talked about this during our last Wed night Bible study
because sometimes it can be awkward praying about certain things with men in the group.

Please be thinking seriously about joining our group. When we had small groups doing
this before it seemed to work out very well. I would like to hear from you all if you are
interested in doing this. If you have any suggestions as to something you would like
included, please also relay that to me.

I have missed seeing many of you since the end of our Bible Study. Hope to see you all

Despite of having notice’s displayed in the staff canteen the coffee mugs are left unwashed after use and are left out in either the staff room or classrooms. Firstly, let me make you aware that food and drinks are restricted to canteen area only. Notices are placed across classrooms and office area’s prohibiting food or drinks inside the rooms. It really makes it inconvenient for other members of staff to re-use the cups as they are dirty and left unwashed. I would like to request all the staff members to kindly wash their own cups and dishes after use and have some consideration for your fellow members of staff.

I have a secondary email that does not have my name in it that is a common noun repeated (like kittykitty@gmail but it is not kittykitty) and someone just sent me payment info intended for a store called Kitty Kitty Creations (not the actual store). The store's email is very clearly kittykittyCREATIONS@gmail and this imbecile just, I don't know, decided she would shorten it or that the third word didn't matter? Anyway, thanks for the payment info, lady, and count your lucky stars I'm only an asshole in the sense that I am going to post about you on the internet and not in the sense that I am going to go shopping with your credit card.
