I put Trevor in a suit right away. No tie, open collar - got it from the place where you buy Michael a suit early on.
Need new clothes for Franklin but he's got a bushy beard and Afro.
Michael is boring - stubble and slightly shorter or longer hair and that's it.

Where are the cops in this game? Think I've got a star about three times so far despite killing anyone who crosses me.

You can buy some hilariously ill-fitting suits for Trevor at the discount store. I've had him running around in a gowdawful tight brown suit and lucha libre mask for a while.

apparently you can buy the soundtrack now but this is a decent chunk of it, not checked if it's the lot yet.

I went to one of the upscale stores and got Trevor in a regular old suit. I don't know if they all stock different items, but it doesn't seem quite that limited. Kinda funny seeing him drop trou in that one cutscene while looking all respectable (well, respectable for Trevor, anyway).

I really liked the longshoreman task run, much more so than Franklin's similar tow truck missions. Kinda Shenmue-lite, but I always enjoy the crappy physics of the big vehicles in these games.

Pretty sure each type of store stocks the same stuff, with maybe a little bit of variation. Trevor's hilarious suits are all at the Discount Stores in the far left corner of the store. Some seriously awesome ones up in there.

i read it's on itunes. maybe not all the music but you do get the tangerine dream soundtrack.

can someone explain the threaten/intimidation mechanic? during trevor's intro mish it says to do that to a guy. i had my gun on him for a long while, but nothing seemed to be happening. i shot near him, which caused a flinch, but that's it. i plugged him in the leg, which killed him. i'm expecting that to matter later on. but what was i supposed to do?

i just kept shooting the hell out of the ground near him, but i think in the end you were meant to kill him. it gave some prompt. i passed the mission. i regret nothing.

Yeah N gets chased by the cops all the time! Tho he mostly shakes them off. But he does have a habit of gleefully driving over people every 10 seconds, so.

The wiki entry suggests the creators at Rockstar put such a vile torture scene in to highlight the fact the US do this very sort of thing on people and look how disgusting it is!

The fact p muc evryone I know has had a visceral reaction of horror/disgust is encouraging, in that you cant rly argue "omg torture porn wont somebody think of the etc!" when everyone's barely even COPING with that scene. I am intrigued by the idea of education thru horrific emotional manipulation.

The water in this game is so amazing, especially at sea, most realistic waves I've seen since Waverace 64. And the Jetskis feel perfect.

A neat touch I've seen with the water is when it's near surface rocks and the water splashes upwards. Doesn't always look perfect but still cool.

Can't say I'm too keen on the radio channels so far, but I think I might have said the same thing about IV but gradually got to like it.

It's also too damn easy, the story missions, this annoys me. Getting gold in all the missions will be tough but reaching the end of the story should have been much more of a challenge imo.

i love easy games too - i'm more into the story than the challenge most of the time. I'm about 7% in though, and have already had to retry sections of the yacht-pursuit mission and several others because I am clumsy and awful.

When I play games this immersive and long and then find myself talking about it later, I tend to say things like "you have to do this" or "I had to chase down that", substituting personal pronouns for that of the protagonist. It's been weird when talking about this game, though, explaining to bf what's going on. I've noticed that I'm freely able to talk about "I" when describing the needs and actions of Franklin and Michael, but I hiccup and switch to third-person when describing the actions of Trevor. Weird?
