PF flyers are very very comfy indeed, in the USA I got these:

but with a burgundy trim, as well as a pair of old school nike airs in grey and blue with reflective recessed dots in the heel for a mere thirty dollars, couldn't really refuse them!

nice, I was going to get some nastases too while over as classic adidas are so ridiculously cheap over there right now what with the exchange rate, but my size was out.

Go on sites like footlocker or champs (or my favourite - dicks sporting goods) and there's loads of good adidas, most ship to the UK too and it seems to be dollars for pounds

Thanks Liz! I have seen both of those in the flesh I think. Normally I love that style, but I've decided that my skirt's length makes my calves look fat unless I have at least a BIT of heel. But I don't want to be taller than Matt. Sigh.

i think it's just leather with some kind of high gloss lacquer on it isn't it? reminds me of going to mass when i was a little tacker and wearing frilly socks.
