Cool, I will give those a listen.

I have been considering trying this out myself - any tips? Also, any concerns about the legality of using music, or does everyone just figure if it's niche then nobody will notice?

my feeling about this since college radio days is that as long as you're playing one track and not streaming entire albums, and broadcasting at lower quality, you should be okay?

I recently started doing a podcast about heavy metal under the aegis of Steel for Brains. The latest one is about our experiences at the recent Gilead Fest in Oshkosh, WI.

my podcast is back, after a hiatus of a few months. it's freeform, which most of the time means avant-leaning stuff but has included country, disco, blatant chartpop, blues/folk/gospel in the harry smith milieu, "world" music. sometimes i talk, sometimes i don't. i don't talk on this one.

I have a podcast but it's not music so much as interviews with musicians. (I play short sections of two tracks by the artist in question at the beginning of each interview, but that's it.)

First episode, in which we compare The Searchers, Slade, The Rocksteady Crew, Mariah Carey, Holly Valance and Union J: https://shows.acast.com/which-decade-is-tops-for-pops/episodes/the-searchers-vs-slade-vs-rocksteady-crew-vs-mariah-carey-vs
