would 'things that just have to be peter serafinowicz sketches' be the closest UK equivalent to 'things that just have to be tim and eric sketches'? some of the forgotten 70s and 80s tv series that are broadcast on Talking Pictures TV look so much like they must be extremely dexterous spoofs

also the adverts they show for DVD or CD compilations that list a dozen or so beloved entertainers of yesteryear, about 50% of whom are obviously made up

I've never heard of Bognor or indeed a lot of the TV stuff they broadcast, making me think a lot of them were only shown on regional TV.
